Where would you realistically stay at in Ponyvile (of the mane 6)?

Forget who's your favorite pony or which characters you care more or less for. Say you had to stay in this town for a couple months. Which of the mane 6's places would you actually stay at the most?

 

Before you jump into this, here are some factors to consider -

 

 

Twilight's library:

 

- Within town, surrounded by books, several stories tall

 

Roommate advantage: feeling a little homesick? Your roommate has a way to literally get all letters and small packets to your friends and family within the time limit of a puff of smoke. This is the best place of all for those who don't like too much noise, since there's a quiet policy.

 

Disadvantages: Your roommate will be up at night, sometimes as late as 3am. Most of the place is opened to the public; it won't be uncommon to see someone wandering around where you're at during public hours.

 

 

Applejack's farm:

 

- At the edge of town, on a farm, deals mostly with apples but has livestock and other crops, largest land property.

 

Roommate advantage: the freshest, home cooked food at every family meal, and you've been invited to sit down at every one of them. This place is the least likely to care if you have a more messier lifestyle.

 

Disadvantages: If you're more of a loner or is rather shy around others, this is not the place for you. The people in the house are up in the morning, sometimes as early as 5am.

 

 

Rainbow Dash's cloud home:

 

- Decent sized property high in the sky with a view, location can vary, but usually on the edge of town.

 

Roommate advantage: your roommate is out most of the time (best place for privacy), and tends to be more open minded, so you're free to host your own events there.

 

Disadvantages: not an ideal spot if you're afraid of heights. You can't fly, so assistance is needed to get here, either by another pegasus or by a flying shuttle service. The temperature is lower on average here than on the ground.

 

 

Fluttershy's cottage:

 

- A cozy place near the edge of the forest. Nearest to nature and wildlife.

 

Roommate advantage: your roommate is very understanding and tends to be more soft-spoken. This person is the least likely of all the others to complain or fuss on what you do.

 

Disadvantages: not the place if you're allergic to any common creature. Animals can randomly be found in the house, usually on the first floor.

 

 

Rarity's boutique:

 

- Within town, clothing shop on the first floor

 

Roommate advantage: your roommate will happily sew up any tears you have, and occasionally, offer to upkeep your clothes. There is a chance for a new, custom outfit at the end of your stay. If you're one to keep up appearances, this is the place for you.

 

Disadvantage: this place is very gender specific on design. Your roommate's schedule can be rather erratic as they scramble to meet deadlines. At times, your roommate will comment on your lifestyle depending on how you live.

 

 

Pinkie Pie's bakery home:

 

- Within the center of town, bakery on the first floor, bedroom on the second floor

 

Roommate advantage: your roommate is the life of the party, get in on most major celebrations in town. Sometimes, a hot bed of social active is just down your stairs. Get fresh baked, sweet goods straight out of the oven..

 

Disadvantage: Expect this place to have the most noise of all other spots. Your roommate's habits can be hard to nail down, and can act unpredictable. If you're heath conscious, the temptations won't help.

 

 

 

So, which place sounds appealing?

Despite Rarity being my favorite pony, I would most likely stay at Twilight's Library. I enjoy reading from time to time and I always wanted to practically live in a library. I'm a night owl so having someone stay up past midnight won't have an effect on me in the slightest. Most of the ponies in Ponyville are nice, so I wouldn't be too annoyed in seeing one of them in the library during public hours. Twilight's place is definitely my choice.

I would stay at Sweet Apple Acres because, I do love getting up early in the morning to just interact with people. It would be more fitting to stay there to have fun, and just work while I'm at it.

I would have to go with Pinkie Pie's bakery. I'm fine with a lot of noise, and I'm not a health nut. Plus, I friggin' love me some parties!

I would not be able to stay in Ponyville, realistically. The reason for this is that even if I could possibly get there, I am 3D and their world is not.

 

Probably Twilight's Library because I myself like to stay up late, enjoy reading, and like to be by myself, enjoying peace and quiet.

I'd have to say either Twi or Fluttershy. Both have a laid back, quiet environment, which I'd much prefer over a location with lots of activity.
 

 

I think I would stay in Fluttershy's cottage. I myself am VERY shy in real life, and not very loud. 

 

Roommate Advantage: Fluttershy, (OF COURSE) isn't loud at all, and I can't stand a lot of noise.

Twilight's Library doesn't really have many downsides, I'm usually up late at night anyway. Plus, I think it would be pretty amazing staying in a library of all places.

 

Although I think I'm going to have to go with Fluttershy's Cottage, mainly because I have a slight case of "room-mate bias." I also wouldn't ever feel alone with all the animals around and I'm used to that sort of thing anyway. I've always lived with pets and I don't think they would be any trouble.

 

(I couldn't survive staying with Pinkie Pie though... I need my quiet time )

I think i would choose to stay at Twilight's. Even though she may be up late at night, at least she would be quiet reading her books and i usually stay up late too. An advantage would be having Spike as a roommate, theres no other dragon cooler than Spike!

I'm kind of torn between twilight and fluttershy. I wouldn't mind living with a night owl (as a matter of fact I might keep her up at times) and a nice quiet location is always great and, as mentioned before, the ponyvilians seem like an overall nice group. Besides, twilight is one of the best ponies. The issue with twi would bè her level of organization... I don't roll like that.

Fluttershy on the other hoof would be nice, as I would consider myself pretty good with animals. As long as the animals are moderately quiet, I would have no issue. Fluttershy, even if I did stay up all night, probably wouldn't complain to me. Even if she did, she would be very nice about it. She probably wouldn't mind accommodating my pickey appetite considering she hasn't killed angel yet. Also, animals to snuggle with while you go to sleep. I can only see one downside to fluttershy. That smell that a place gets when there have been at least 20 animals there recently.

I'd probably stay in the library, which is what I would want anyway. Since I'm kind of a night owl myself I wouldn't really be bothered too much by Twilight's work, and I love to read so having all those books at my disposal without even leaving the house would be like a dream come true for me.

Remember, who your favorite pony is or who you like or don't doesn't apply. So for considering this topic's question, assume your roommate to be faceless.

RDs home would be a nice place for me at-least. 

 

I like the concept of having a nice quiet view of the land, nice sunsets and sunrises, and all of that. It's nice and quiet also. I've also taken a liking to chilly environments. 

 

I know we aren't suppose to factor in Favorite Pony and RD isn't near the top of my favorite list. However, I'd love to be around her anyways.

My favorite pony is Rarity, but I would be happiest living with Twilight. I love to read and I sleep late at night anyway, and I'm pretty good about keeping things organized. I am an introvert, but having people around every now and again to strike up intelligent, quiet conversation would be welcome at any time. Plus, I'm a very faithful pen pal, so sending letters easily would be quite lovely. I don't think that I would be able to take living with someone as particular as Rarity for very long.

Hmm, toss up between Fluttershy and Twilight. My sleep schedule is pretty variable, so that's not really an issue.

 

To me, the big advantages of the library are 1) quick access to lots of information I can't get in the human world, 2) it has a telescope, and 3) it's inside a living tree... how cool is that?

 

Advantages of the cottage are quick access to the forest (I love hiking, and most of the monsters only seem to come out at night), less traffic, probably the most exciting during thunderstorms (which I love), and lots of cute animals that I don't have to take care of Also this beautiful view every evening:

 

Yeah, I think I'd stay with Fluttershy. But I'd definitely visit all the others as well, and check out lots of books from the library.

I'd rather stay in Sweet Apple Acres. Sure, there's the waking up early, but there's always work to be done, and I'd get on great with the Apples, Big Mac and all.

 

IRL, I'm quite a lazy chap, looking for work to do, which is why I'd happily stay in SAA if offered. There'd always be work to do, be it helping Mac to cart the apples back to the barn or (if I were a pony) helping AJ buck the apples down from their endless series of trees.

 

I'm also quite a sociable, friendly guy. I'm sure the Apples would love me for my personality, which I admit is a bit "in-your-face" at times, but most of the time, it's quite open.

Applejack's place hands down. I'd like to be there because if there's anything I can do to help around the farm, I'm always willing to lend a hand and the fresh air will be rejuvinating. I tend to be more of a loner in a house with roomies but the family atmosphere in the farm suits me just fine as well, and I can deal waking up early since I'm an early bird anyways.

Toss up between twilight's and rarity's

I like pinkie, but live with pinkie.. nnnnnnnnnnnn No.  hell no. 

I think flutter shys animals (angel lol even) would wear on my nerves.

Maybe I just have a ammusing image of twlights pad after seeing Dan vs fim where Dan is stuck living at twilight's and it looks like a good time to me lol.  Rarity's simply seens more manageable next to the rest.

Rainbow Dash. I selected her through elimination. Twilight and Rarity are kind of clean freaks, and I don't like that. I prefer not bathing much. Fluttershy - animals. I'm too impatient to stay with them. Applejack has waking up early. Do I look like someone who wants to do that? (Well, I guess you kinda can't see me, but whatever) Pinkie makes too much noise. So although I don't have anything about her I particularly like (Other than tomboy), I have to choose Rainbow.
