What's with her sparkly hair?

Maybe its just me. I saw a plush on EQD of Princess Twilight. If you look very closely, or close, you see..SPARKLES.

Do they change manes after a while? Cadence, Celestia and Twilight have them in the confetti strings. Any thoughts?

Maybe just to resemble Twilight's name. You know, Twilight Sparkle. I guess that's why... I really have no idea now...........

To be honest, I think that is the whole reason why she has sparkles on her confetti-like mane.

Maybe it's a joke because Princess Twilight's name is, "Twilight SPARKLE". 

 

Or, they just want to make the plushies look "prettier" and more "girly".

Maybe they made an error in the plush assembly line, so that is probably why there are sparkles in her mane. So, that's probably why..

I think they just thought that the sparkle would make the toy look more appealing to kids. Like, make it look more pretty.

I agree that it just made the plush more eye catching and isn't trying to foreshadow that Twilight's mane will become flowing.

It's probably just to give her mane a more appealing look. If you want me to be honest, I'm more confused as to why she has confetti hair in the first place.

I don't like the "Pasta" mane plushies. I much prefer the new Beanie Baby versions of the mane six. Those look nice! I plan on getting a couple of the Beanies!

Guh... confetti hair is so horrid looking. (Like stringy dreadlocks)

You'd think it would of made more sense to put the sparkles in Celestia's hair since ya know... it actually sparkles.
