I'd want to be a pegasus or a dragon. Both can fly, and I've always fantasized about being able to fly with wings. Dragons are badass too; they can breathe fire. If I had to be a pony race though, I'd want to be a pegasus. Cloudwalking and weather manipulation and sonic rainbooms! Yay! Alicorns are neat, but i feel that they are too overpowered and in my opinion, just show indecisiveness with the person that creates an alicorn character.

 

Nothing against such characters mind you, especially not the ones that aren't as close to perfect as one can get, but nearly everyone has one. I refuse to make my own alicorn character because of that.

I chose earth pony, that's the way my main OC's are. I don't have much of an explanation why. With Sport and Striker, they play baseball. For me, I do Videography, Photography, and Voice Acting

Hello @Cloby604!  Just so you know, I have merged your thread (along with a couple others) to this existing one that deals with the same subject of picking a race if you were to live in Equestria.  Under normal circumstances, I would say to use the search function to see if your idea for a  thread already exists before posting a new one.  But since the search function is temporarily down at the moment, just keep it in mind for the future.

Hard to choose, because I admire both Unicorn and Pegasus races. So would that mean I like Alicorn the best? xD But in all seriousness, I do prefer magic over flying though, so I'd totally go for Unicorn.

Anyways, I know this sounds really biased (as almost EVERYONE picks this race) but I would have to go with being a Pegasus. I could fly all I wanted (my dream!), soar through the clouds, sleep on them... *dreamy sigh* Now only if it could really happen...

 

EDIT: Can't believe that UNICORNS are actually winning! Whoa!

 

And I forgot to mention that although my fursona is a dragon, I would rather be a Pegasus in the PONY universe specifically, as I don't really like how dragons are represented in the show.... tbh.

I would want to be a Pegasus! No doubt about it. I mean sure, if you're a unicorn you can cast a spell to give you wigs but that's hard and unnatural. I don't lie when I say: I think of how awesome flying would be practically every day!

Alicorns would be the overall best... So I would aim for that one over any of the others (& it is the only of the 4 types of ponies I have an OC as of right now... The rest are in production, since I don't have any idea for cutie marks/talents, colors, names... Nothing ). But if I was going for something lesser, I would pick Unicorn. I just want to be able to do magicks
