Do people dislike/hate you because you're a brony?

Most don't know or care. And that's just the way I like it. I mean, it's not really even all that important for people to know that I happen to watch a show about extremely stylized  colorful (cat) horses anyway. Unless they ask me, but I'm relatively content not to volunteer information out of nowhere. Ain't none of your business what I'm interested in, and if you don't like me due to it? That's quite upsetting, and there might be an understandable reason for it, but it's also none of my business what you think of me due to this.

My brother gives me a lot of crap for watching MLP, but other than that, I don't know anyone that dislikes me solely because I'm a "brony". I'm positive that there are people out there that automatically hate on bronies because they're ignorant bafoons, so technically, yes. People dislike me because I'm a brony.

People don't hate me because of that. I choose when I want to disclose that I'm a brony, which is why I haven't received that much hate. I'm not scared of telling people that I'm a brony, but rather cautious, depending on their overall attitude towards people.

When I tried to tell my mom, she kept trying to ask me if I was gay over and over again. It took me forever to get her to be okay with it.

Eh...sometimes people use it against me because I'm pretty open about it, and I try my best not to care. ^^; Sometimes people are really mean about it though...but it's just downright stupid to be judged for liking a TV show.

i dont think my friends hate me, they just think it gay, stupid and childish and when i talk about how we are a community of olders (like 30 yr olds) aswell as youngers they just say their pedos and they are fat. i think it is sad that they have an opinion of us like that just down to the fact we watch a show made for little girls. frankly sometimes i wish i had better friends that were understanding. i know here im gonna make better friends but what can i do but bare the mlp abuse over the next couple years while i have no choice but to talk to them unless i go somewhere quiet.

well, there was this one girl who was in my 1-6th grade class, and i started watching mlp JUST before summer came around and i told her about it. at first she thought i was joking so she gave a little chuckle, but then i showed her some pics i had on my phone and... she didn't really talk to me for a long time. when 7th grade started I walked up to her cuz we were locker buddies, and she just glared at me like i was a bucking IDIOT and she acted like she didn't even know me!!

we don't talk anymore... but it still hurts...   deep inside.

I've been judged by my family, but I never gave a damn, and at the end, I prevailed, and became better.

 

As for liking myself, yeah, for standing up to myself, but I"m just a big fan is all.

Nobody is knowing that it's a serious "passion" (well, I think) but they are making fun of those ponies, I understand them, I would do this if I was them... (maybe I'm a little more open-minded that them, but even, a fandom with ponies is quite hillarous at the frist look, no?)
