hey there everypony i was wondering is there anyone else that likes anthro ponies or has a fetish for it   , and if your not an anthro brony what are your opinions on anthro/humanized ponies

my opinion on it is, and not to sound like a pervert i think ponies themselves are very attractive and good looking but making them human for females breasts make them look more attractive and for males the muscles would make them look a little more attractive

Well, i wouldn't call it a fetish, but yeah anthro ponies are pretty cute. Also, if you make the ponies in a fanfic anthro, there are way more opportunities to create an original story.
So yeah, i support anthro ponies

I don't care much for anthro/humanized ponies, I actually like how they regularly look in the show better. Although I'm more attracted to humans than ponies lol, but I just don't care for humanized versions of the ponies that much usually.

There are plenty of very good fanworks of anthro and humanized ponies which I do indeed enjoy, so long as it is done well I don't have a particular preference for pony, anthro or human but will admit that some look a bit better than others in certain forms. Zecora looks seriously hot in human form as well as some anthro versions and add that sexy accent to it and you have me drooling.

I may be a furry, but I am not interested in anthro ponies. They just don't appeal to me, and look far better in their normal forms. I especially don't like it when they are anthro, yet still have the same tubey hooves as in the show. It just doesn't bode well with my brain at all.

anthro meaning anthropology is the study of humans and humanity. sorta like bi-pedal people so they are the exact same.

I may be a furry, but I pretty much feel the same about... well, 80% of anthro things. They just aren't designed correctly. The key to making an anthro appeal to me is to make it look like its own creature, having a good mix of human/animal thrown in there, but having enough of its own unique spark to look like it could be a thing that exists rather than two things mashed together. If that makes sense. Most people who draw furries don't really go for that angle. That's why I prefer things like Pokemon, where some of the creatures are distinguishably anthroesque, but have skewed proportions that make them look not so much like a genetic freak.

 

Anyway, I don't like anthro ponies due to this reason. Most of them are badly designed in my opinion. I prefer ponies as they look in the show because they already look pretty damn anthropomorphic. Their faces are basically human anyways, just with VERY simplified equine anatomy. But at the same time, they look distinguishable enough not to be some kind of genetic lab freak. It's the perfect appearance just as they are. That and their ridiculous tube hooves don't look good on two legs. XD

 

As for humanized, I don't mind it. But I also think most of the time it isn't really properly executed as people tend to make most of them these skinny generically pretty girls with big breasts for sex appeal, and it just doesn't work for me. (I prefer the Equestria Girls style for them, even if they ARE too skinny. At least their breasts aren't emphasized and it still looks like MLP style) I've seen some that are really good though, and use proper female proportions. It just depends on the artist.

Humanized, you mean, right? I don't go much for that either.

 

MLP ponies are very colorful creatures. Humans are most certainly not. So, the same color pallet that goes great on a cartoon equine looks like a terrorist attack on a paint factory when applied to humans. Even if it is just the wardrobe.

 

And on top of that, being that they are female characters, of course the artists always feel the need to sexualize the crap out of them. Pretty much every humanized pic I've seen had them sporting revealing (if any) clothing, and juggs the size of pumpkins. Even the official humanizations in Equestria Girls turned them into skinny white chicks in short skirts.

 

That being said, I am a fan of cosplay. When it's a real girl being cute/sexy in pony clothes, it just looks more natural than when artists try to genetically alter their species.

I love anthro ponies when they're fully humanized. I don't like seeing any kind of pony mix in there because it feels like an Aperture Laboratories experiment gone terribly wrong But yeah, it either has to be one way or the other. I don't much care for the ones that have the pony tails or ears or stuff like that. Unless they're wearing fake pony ears, of course. That just makes them even cuter  

 

I also don't care for the pictures that portray them being super sexy or anything like that. Of course, I think the only one who has much room for that is Rarity. She seems, by far, the most likely to be featured in the Swimsuit Edition of Sports Illustrated haha Other than that, I don't entirely care for sexy humanized ponies as well. It just kind of lessens the level of innocence that I associate with MLP. I like cute and beautiful. But not really sexy. It's just not my thing, ya dig?

Anthro stands for "anthromorphic" not anthropology you can even see this on the furry page in wikipedia, furries were originally referred to as "Anthromorphic"

Anthropology is a field dealing with the study humans and has little to do with furries unless an anthropologist was study furry subculture. Yes they both begin with "anthro" but that is a latin rootword for "man" so it shouldn't be surprising both start with "anthro" but both mean very different things.

 

"Anthropology" is my current degree I am working on, I am not studying furries I can assure you .
