Groups E and F, like Groups C and D, were mostly straightforward with easy wins for Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. Only time will tell if their form can stay hot well into qualifying though. Ms. Peachbottom and Cherry Berry put up very tough fights, but they eventually lost out to Ahuizotl and Pumpkin Cake respectively.

Well... now... it is time for Groups G and H... can Twilight Sparkle continue her supremacy like the other Princesses did? Can King Sombra bounce back from a humiliating defeat, or will Diamond Tiara be able to finally get her first win of the tournament? 

 

The MLPF Key matchup though has to be Lyra vs Wild Fire, where a famous background pony will face a well loved pony inspired by one of the show's key animators...

To be honest, I rather vote on a pony I barely know than Fluttershy, because she's a one-dimensional "cutie" with no depth.

 

Also, it's a bit saddening to see Apple Cobbler eliminated, because...well, I role played her for several months now. Unfortunately, she's just a background pony who is virtually unknown and has no personality at all, at least to the fandom. Plus, she's a "dead" background pony, as though she appears multiple times in S1 and S2, the Cranky Doodle episode was her last.

Twilight and Fluttershy for the win! Diamond Tiara is proving what an effective villain she is if she's losing to Sombra. It just goes to show how truly despicable she is if people won't vote for her over a pure blackhearted demon.

Okay, so I've attempted to reply with this useless crap of a phone for an hour now, so don't misunderstand me, because I'm pissed right now.

 

Basically, Fluttershy only has these traits: Shy, kind to a fault, and is aware that her being a pushover aggravates others, but does nothing about it, apparently. Oh, and she's kind of a mama's bear, with all those animals she has.

 

If you don't believe me, I can do a more indirect example. You remember how Discord turned Fluttershy uncaring and cruel with his chaotic godly powers? She has no personality or fear to play off. Even her angry and raging attitude is just an attempt to cover it up; she's only playing as a demon when the plot needs her to, otherwise, she's a shy goody-two-shoes angel.

 

I would admit, however, that Fluttershy had improved somewhat from the previous seasons with the Flutterbat episode. But then again, that just spawned a meme.

I'm fine with Pinkie and Rarity, but not so much for Rainbow Dash, though it's not to the level of disliking her. She does improve with Daring Don't and Flight to the Finish.

Well Groups G and H went off without much fanfare. Lower voter turnout unfortunately, but we got a draw when Pound Cake did just enough to tie Bloomberg the Tree! Otherwise, the wins were mostly straightforward, although King Sombra struggled against Diamond Tiara at first. 

 

Now...

Discord, Spitfire, Scootaloo, and Sunset Shimmer are back in Group I and J action! Can they all gather wins and be closer to the World Cup?!
