Dr. Whooves is losing to Tank right now. ;)

That's not going to matter. The only way Soarin, Celestia, and Roseluck can rise up to the powerhouses is if the powerhouses fought each other. (Manipulation war tactics, yay!)

 

If Luna or Derpy went against Whooves, and if the former two won, then a runner-up seat may be vacant. Otherwise, the pieces will fall where they belong.

I voted for all of the characters who are currently in the lead. Except Luna.

 

Here's hoping my favorite tortoise can beat Doctor Whooves. I'm also happy for Derpy and Celestia. :)

Anyway, go Tank, Cherry Jubilee, and even Soarin' here, they're all up against characters that I don't particularly care for here. >_>

But especially Cherry Jubilee. Good lord she's underrated. :blush:

Well, Celestia is going to take Braeburn's throne sooner or later since she will have a significantly large advantage with vote count. If Braeburn loses once, he loses his seat. Conversely, Roseluck could take over on a case of Celestia vs. Braeburn or if either lost twice consecutively.

 

Blueblood is dead, as well.

ugggh i had to vote for soarin, ugggh i feel so filthy now. i couldnt vote for blueblood, he's just too much of a jerk...

I could only vote for him because at least he has some interesting moments. I don't feel the same for Soarin. He doesn't add anything to the episodes he's in as far as I can see and is even slightly annoying.

Once again, this is incredibly one-sided.

Gotta go through the motions before you enter the fire... ;)

So we've just witnessed our first set of characters mathematically eliminated today. They are marked red in the standings. Keep in mind that they can act as spoilers so that your preferred character can progress regardless.

To be honest, I hate Rainbow Dash. Yes, I used that word. Rainbow Dash is the pony I least like, because in a way, she just gives off vibes of Mary Sue. I would rather vote for Dinky.

 

Again, almost all votes are one-sided (WHY, COBBLER, WHY?). Most people voted for the well known ponies, which I prefer to call "Careers", and the others "District Contestants". Career ponies have a significantly higher chance to get nominated, though there are some differences between Stage 1 Careers (main characters) and Stage 2 (supporting and background).

 

Now, regular District Contestants have a chance of climbing up, as with the close case of Roseluck and the successful one of Granny Smith. Generally, most of them are going to die.

 

Purple contestants are "Cannon Fodder". Red contestants are "Passionately Reciprocated".

Why does this tournament insist on making me make horrible decisions???  Having to pick Rainbow over Dinky, that is simply heartbreaking.  :(   The only reason I'm not more upset is because I think even with the loss to Rainbow, Dinky should still get into the World Cup (so long as Ahuizotl doesn't somehow get in ahead of her, still can't believe he's doing as well as he is  :okiedokielokie: ).
