Would Xenophilia take place in their world?

Would xenophilia take place in their world? What is xenophilia? It's the partnership of two sapient beings from different species, dating and whatnot.

 

Think about it, there's more than one sapient species; like Diamond Dogs (I'm sure not all Diamond Dogs and their clans are jerks) griffons, dragons (I'm sure not all dragons are anti social) living on their planet.

 

Of course, this is a kid's cartoon and not show like Mass Effect to deal with issues like this.

 

I think xenophilia would happen if there's one than one sapient race on a planet, that or the strongest, most violent and warlike of the races subjugates and eventually commits genocide on them all.

Although no official Canon relationships are xeno, I think there is a good chance that xeno is a thing in "Equestria" because nopony has a problem with Spike's crush on Rarity. Wouldn't Spike's crush on Rarity be frowned upon if Equestria wasn't xeno?

Spike's crush on Rarity suggests that it's at least possible. If it was something that was frowned upon I think it would have been mentioned at one point.

Also, I'm sure Xeno relationships happen all the time in Equestria. If Xeno relationships taboo, I think Spike would've gotten some flak for his crush on Rarity, which he didn't.

Spikes crush is innocent, Batponies are confirmed as a race of ponies, just like pegasi, unicorns, or earth ponies. Relationships are likely to only occur between equins and possibly griffons.

Hm, I'd say that definitely happens across Equestria. You don't even have to look at different species, if we count different pony races getting together which they in fact do, if that counts(although, that's probably just considered interracial there). Still, yeah, with Spike's crush on Rarity at least we know it isn't frowned upon by most, and we do also have mules(even if they're usually just there to be the butt of a joke, they're there) so there. We don't know if anything goes beyond that, but like it's been said maybe the batponies are some sort of result of that, or maybe even Crystal Ponies as well(maybe they're descended from ponies and dragons who ate too many gems, who knows), or maybe even any of the non-earth pony races, pegasi could have started from pony-griffin relations for all we know, just maybe. Eh, but whatevs, just speculating/theorizing, totally okay with being completely wrong.

I'll agree with the people saying that Spike's crush on Rarity not being looked down upon is a good sign that xenophilia may exist in the canon Equestria. Of course we'll never know for sure unless the show's staff comes up with a clever way of showing some interspecies relationship. Huh... It's not that hard.

Guess I learn new things even when on vacation. But mules and hinneys are often sterile because because horses and donkeys have a different number of chromosomes, so couples between species are probaby even less common due to that. So xenophilia does does take place aparently
