What's happening to me?

I've changed so much after season 3 ended. I became a shell of the brony I once was. Like I don't feel like season 4 is worth bothering with, I hardly got anything pony. The last time I bought something pony was months ago.

The show just seemed to disappear from me. I find I disagree and become more annoyed with bronies recently too.

Why is this?

I have the exact same feeling. I have almost no interest in the show anymore. Hell, I've only watched one episode of season 4 so far. And that was Daring Don't. And yes, I'm more annoyed with bronies recently too.

I'm guessing because season 4 just isn't very exciting. Atleast, for me it hasn't been.

Your probably just leveling out into a more level-headed brony. One that just watches the show because it is a show. Ofc seeing a few other bronies with therr negativity lately might be accelerating this abit. And you don't need to buy anything pony to like the show.

it may just be as respol says you could be outgrowing being a brony or you could just be getting bored of the show itself theres only a certain amount that the human mind can take before it starts to get bored of it i would wait a couple of months before you did anything brony again to let your brain not become so used to the show so much.

You might be getting bored of it.

I'm having a blast with season 4 but others might just be kind of tired.

Maybe years from now, you could start watching again and perhaps it'll do it for you, or maybe not.

damn i was hoping it was some non bronie going through the big change and i was gonna taunt you how you were slowly becoming one of us.

Hum, are you watching to many fan analysis videos?

are you watching to few?

I don't see me burning out any time soon.  I went hard core into death note and only quit cause well,

i saw pretty much everything LOL.

I mean okay i didn't see all the live action stuff but i'm pretty sure it was redundant.

Your not the only one. I've been feeling the same way for a while now. So far I have no favorite episode of season 4, I've removed all pony related videos from my Youtube account, theories are becoming way to out of hand for me to handle, and any time I talk to anyone on this site (from time to time) they always seem like big jerks. I also can't stand reviewers anymore for some odd reason. It could just mean I have lost interest in the show and just wanting to leave.

Could also be that I have been watching this other show that's like MLP, but I think it does better at doing friendship lessons.

I am now thinking to abandon the fandom, it completely lost my interest within the show.

I am bored of drawing ponies with graphic tablet.

you did spend all pre season 4 complaining about it.  I think you made up your mind going in you were gonna hate it.

Kinda ROS for d3 and how i've made up my mind that blizz ruined the core game with the next patch to make sure people buy the x pac.

I wondered where you'd gotten to. Nothing wrong with developing new interests, especially if your the drawing type.

The excitement of becoming a brony is probably just dying down for you. The same happened to me as well, I slowly began to lose interest earlier this year, and then I just became pretty meh about it. I came back to the fandom when season four began though, and I still like the show, I just dont buy pony stuff or watch the show every day. I watch the new episodes and stuff, but yeah. Just not as often as I used to.

I really have to force my self to watch season 4 if there's any hope left. Oh well. I may not be part of the fandom, or at least not that active in it, but I do enjoy the groups I made on Facebook and those people. There's only like 15 people who post in it.

Ugh, same, halfway through season 3 the episodes just began to feel like a blur, and nothing really stood out, I slowly began to feel more distant from the show and ponies overall, I talked to my brony friends at school to ask them what they thought about season 4, they had agreed with me on everything before, but they said they're really liking it, I just don't see it anymore, I still stay for the fandom, well, few of them at least. x3

don't forget the show is designed so that kids who grow up with it walk way with the lessons they learn from it. Just because some of us are older doesn't mean it won't have that same effect on us. :)

Yeah, you could just be losing interest. It happens. I used to be a really zealous fan myself. I used to love watching so many brony analyses, reviews, reading numerous fanfics, etc. Now I'm just not into it as much I used to be. I'm not sure why exactly. I guess I've just exhausted much of my full interest. As of right now, I've only been watching the newer S4 episodes. Though, I still have my favorites on the side that I occasionally still rewatch.

The only reviews I'm now interesting in are the ones my girlfriend does on her YouTube channel, and that's only because, 1.) I support her in everything she does and 2.) her reviews are unique and actually stand out from amongst many of the more popular and generic ones I've seen. :P

I still love the show to no end   but I guess the fandom itself is slowly losing the grip it once had on me. The show's always gonna be my favorite though. :)

I will always love my Pinkie Pie.

Don't worry about it, your loss of interest might be temporary or it might be permanent either way it is not the end of the world. If you force yourself to like something than it is simply not going to work and may push you the other way, it a show a really good show but still just a show not a religion. Maybe a little break from it might cause you to regain some interest but if not than that is okay too because there are plenty of things I was once into that I lost interest in, with some of these things it was temporary and with others it was permanent.

The loss of interest in a show/fandom after a while is completely normal. I used to be a die hard Naruto fan for a good 5 years or so. I still read the comics, but I'm not even a shadow of the fan I was a few years back. Like I said though, I still like it.

Also the loss of interest may only be temporary. Even if it is permanent, you can always move on to something else. Anyways, I hope that I don't lose interest in the My Little Pony world anytime soon. I've only been a brony for 9 months or so, and I'd like to be for a bit longer.

Try not to worry about it,you're not the only one. I have'nt really done anything mlp related in a LONG time. I also have'nt watched any season 4 episodes either.

I know with me, I sometimes I have that feeling but I know it's wrong in my case because the reason I've figured out caused it.

For me it's my damn piss-poor self-esteem. I've having trouble enjoying a lot of things I love because I fee like I'm being judged for it and feel stupid for liking them.

As a brony for 2 years I could say that I still am very enthusiastic about the show. I haven't saw an episode of season 4 yet though ( doesn't air season 4 in Canada yet.) Could be a reason I still interested. Maybe it's that you got what you wanted from the fandom and feel you need to take a break.

Probably boredom, though I've liked the show since the wait for season 2 (IT WAS TORTURE I TELL YOU) and i'm having a blast.
