Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

Posted Image

Best game ever. Spent so much time on it when I was younger and I couldn't get enough of it! Never did I think I could live the epic dogfights from the Star Wars universe, but thanks to this epic game I could.

Cutting edge graphics as well, dare I say they still impress me today.

Jump into the cockpit of an X-Wing, A-Wing, Y-Wing, Snowspeeder and more!

Top 3:

Bomberman 64 The Second Attack.

I grew up with Bomberman, and this is by far the BEST 3D Bomberman game ever conceived.

Super Smash Bros.

Obvious reasons. I loved Gamesharking on this game (I liked playing as Fighting Polygon Characters)

Banjo Tooie.

I just spent more time playing this game than any other game. It was one of my childhood favorites.

Finally committed my first name change.

Banjo-Kazooie, OoT, Killer Instinct Gold, F-Zero X, Smash Bros., Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

I loved all of these games, spent quite a lot of my childhood playing them.

I wholeheartedly agree with the choice of Rogue Squadron. I remember spending hours and hours trying to achieve gold medals on all the levels.

Considering that the Nintendo 64 is still my favorite console to day, I find it difficult to pick only one. However, the one that keeps coming to mind when I think about it is Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. The one thing I can always remember about it was how much of a challenge I got out of it. I like a good puzzle game, and that one was full of them.

That, and well, it's Indiana Jones. Kicking Soviet ass and taking names.

Banjo Kazooie and Paper Mario. Both are incredibly fun to play even today, yet still offer a (sometimes infuriating) challenge. Not only that, but Paper Mario is still one of the best RPGs I have ever played, only topped by the superb sequel.

OoT

Body Harvest

Yoshi's Story

Turok (1,2, 3, and Rage Wars)

Pokemon Stadium

Mortal Kombat 4

San Francisco RUSH

Destruction Derby

Super Smash Bros.

Donkey Kong 64

Snowboard Kids

Paper Mario

Super Mario 64

Tony Hawk Proskater (1, 2, and 3)

...The list goes on and on. The 64 was amazing. Although there was a lack of RPG games on it. (SNES for RPGs :D)

Paper Mario... Such fond memories of that game!!! No matter what, whenever I play the game again, I just... I simply just get lost in the whole thing! It's one of the greatest RPGs on the N64 IMO! But I never tried Quest 64 before... Anyone mind telling me how good Quest 64 is, if you played it?

Definitely OoT/MM from the Zelda series. Aside from being my favorite games ever, those games are just so amazing and there is so much to do. Banjo-Kazooie is a close second.

Oh man, I love the N64!

-Mario 64: First video game and one of the best Mario games.

-Banjo-Kazooie/Banjo Tooie: The dialogue and fun levels collecting jiggies.

-Kirby 64: A big Kirby fan, and mixing powers is fun.

-Toy Story 2: I remember playing this game alot.

-Star Wars Rogue Squadron: A very fun game in the Star Wars universe

-Yoshi's Story: Eating fruit and playing a bunch of Yoshis!

Theres more, but I won't go on.

You know I was never a big fan of the N64.

Partly because even as a kid I absolutely HATED the controller.

I hated going over to a friends house and having to ask how to hold the controller for each games.

Since sometimes the way to hold it was different between games.

But I'd say my favorite game was Conker's Bad Fur Day, even if that got remade on Xbox.

Also Goldeneye of course was awesome for it's time as well.

:( Zoop is the only one who said Mischief Makers? And it's only an honorable mention. My vote goes to Mischief Makers. It was my all time favorite (though I did love a lot of N64 games too) I suppose my own honorable mentions would be:

OoT (Though I've never considered it the big bang that many consider it to be, always liked Twilight Princess much more)

Tarzan

Banjo Tooie

Bomberman 64 (Never played The Second Attack but I hear it's great)

Bomberman Hero

Snow Board Kids 1 and 2

Tetrisphere

Dr. Mario 64

My N64 collection wasn't exactly big but the games I played for it were definitely great. Some might notice the lack of Star Fox though and the reason for that is...well...I like the game and it's easily my most played game of all time because it's so short (Beaten it like 30 times when I was a kid) but as far as Star Fox games go I much more prefer Star Fox Adventures and it's never particularly been an "OMG such a great game" to me. Maybe because I played it so much it got dull over the years.

Banjo Kazooie and Tooie. I guess I like Kazooie more.

it really happy and colorful and brings back a lot of memories. I only have 70-something jiggies, I need to work on that.

...imma play it when I get home :D

GoldenEye.

Defined the way I look at games today, by being so GOD damn good.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Sure, it's short and the 3-day time limit is annoying. However, paying attention to just the shortcomings is barely scratching the surface of why it's such a great game. It's not afraid to discuss more adult matters such as life, death, love and the end of the world, gameplay is solid, the story is amazingly deep and only becomes even moreso when you look further into it, and you really do begin to feel for the characters.
