Have any of your friends shown signs of being a brony?

So at my school's lunch period the other day, I accidentally caught myself singing "The Cupcake Song" and as I was about to stop, my friend chimed in "a bit of salt, just a pinch." We kinda looked at each other and saw what just happened and havent spoke of it since. Since were (or atleast I) am a closet brony. I am aware of the possibility that the lyric could have been from the TF2 spin off of the song, but I do remember the .MOV series being referenced by him and while showing me his YouTube I saw a brony song favorited. My question to you guys is, have you ever seen any tell tale signs that any of your buddies were secretly bronies?

Hmm, I know all of my friends pretty well, and I haven't seen any of those signs from my acquaintances. I have, though, seen people wearing merchandise, which makes me happy. I have my fingers crossed that I'll be able to convert some of the people I meet, like I did at my previous school.

Nah, of the two to three people that I know, only one is a brony; one doesn't know that I like it and the other doesn't mind either way.

I saw one girl in my class drawing a pony. I'm guessing it's her OC. That's the only sign I've encountered in person. Some big signs are wearing a MLP shirt (obviously), singing a MLP song, or just generally chatting about the show often. I am hopeful

I might meet other fellow bronies at school. (if I'm that lucky)

Ah, I wish I knew. As someone else said, I too know my friends pretty well. I'm certain none are bronies. Although...a friend of mine sometime ago mentioned he had a little sister that watched it, and so when he made references I didn't think much of it. But odd enough, he made a "Wub" reference. That was a fandom thing for Vinyl Scratch. So, it's suspicious he knows of it. Probably an accident that he came across it, but it's odd that he was saying "Wub" randomly. He knows I'm a brony, but he was not focused on me when he did that. He was quite well in his own world. So now I'm thinking: Why was he doing that? Was it an accident he came across it? Or is his little sister actually on the Internet and knows of the fandom?

 

But other than that, there's no one else. And even then the possibility of him being one tosses and turns, so if I ever find out it will not be soon. Also, he is my 2nd newest friend, so I haven't gotten the chance to know him too much.

I have a lot of friends in real life, but I know for certain none of them are bronies or pegasisters (and if you want to know, none of them know I watch My Little Pony) I'm still waiting for somepony at school to show some signs, and then get to know them after awhile.

None of my friends have showed signs of being a brony or anything to do will MLP in general actually. I'm still a closet brony so I'm still waiting for someone to show possible signs, then give out hints and references about the show.

Well, seeing as I no longer have any real-life friends, all I got are my online friends. However the few non-brony friends I do have, haven't shown any signs of being a brony, as far as I can tell. :S

Yeahh. Dude I sit by in physics has shown to have a pretty good knowledge of the show, being able to identify Rarity unprompted. I talked to him about it some, and he said it's a good show, but he "just watches it with his little sister until it's his turn to change the channel "

My husband is in denial....yet, I cannot watch a new episode until we watch it together......Plus, at an FYE, there was a Buckle Down keychain holder with Luna's pic in it (instead of the usual Rainbow Dash).  He said, "Can we get that?" and said nothing else of it after we bought it. He now wears it everyday.  There also have been times where we go into deep discussions about the show, but its only between us and has only happened a few times....yet he denies being a Brony...

There was a time about a month ago where a dude kept telling me he hates MLP, yet he kept showing me pinkie pie merchandise that he had in his phone....

 

Maybe he was hypocritical, but I told him I liked the show, yet despite him not liking it, he said that's cool.

before i was a brony i was chatting with my mate (who's very anti-brony) about why it's a thing, cos we didn't understand it at the time.

 

he mentioned "a lot of them say it has a really good story, but.. i dunno" so i replied with "know any of it? i want to see how credible that assertion is" he said "yeah, there's one where the pink one makes loads of clones of herself and they run amok or something" months later when i was a brony i realised he was talking about Too Many Pinkie Pies, but now he bare-faced refuses to admit he ever said anything of the sort, which is suspicious.

 

more damningly, i was talking about Rarity in a conversation with someone who was asking me about the show and i said "The thing with Rarity is, and i love her, but she fucking struggles to keep her legs together whenever she meets anyone famous" to which my anti-brony friend replied with "what, is there a town whore of Ponyville now?" then i said "not really the town whore, but it wouldn't surprise me th.... wait, what did you say?"

 

"i asked if this kids show had a town whore"

 

"you said Ponyville!"

 

"well, is that what it's called?"

 

"you know damn fuckin' well that's what it's called!"

 

"well... they're ponies, isn't that obvious?"

My friend a few days ago got a Fluttershy Shirt from his Gf as a gift., First thing he said is he never even seen what this yellow horse was from.

 

Yet instead of just going and exchanging it I've seen him wearing it around town.

 

I think he likes it but just plays off it as It's a gift I have to wear it.
