I honestly have been debating this a long time. At first, it's always been Fluttershy bc if my undying live fir animals. then I was thinking I was like rainbow dash cuz im sporty, but im not as shy as fluttershy. now im thinking I'm a bit more loke Twilight cuz I'm very intelligent and love to read. but Twi seems a bit uptight sometimes so idk. :3 wbu guys?

I adore Applejack and feel as though she is my favourite pony. Of course I feel that she is nothing like me for I am much more similar to Rarity. I feel Applejack would just make a wonderful waifu for me. Although Braeburn is also a cutsie!

Derpy embodies everything that I find appealing and attractive in a partner. She's innocent, awkward, carefree, kind, and last but definitely not least, adorable as *FUCK*.
Her constant presence in my mind provides me with an endless amount of inspiration. Best possible muse anyone could ask for.
She's become an instrumental part of who and what I am today, and I'm proud to say that I love her.

While all of them would be an option I choose, Twilight is the most developed character in the entire show. Besides, I find her character simply good, someone I would want to identify with.

Spike comes in close second, being the helper of the group, serving many supportive roles, a position I find admirable. Also, he's simply likable.

Discord and Luna as secondary characters. They have great stories and powers that grant quite a lot of potential, not mentioning entire realms they open(like the dream realm)! Also, episodes with them are just better, especially with Discord.

It's a close tie between Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy.

 

Fluttershy is just adorable. I love her personality.

 

Pinkie Pie is always a pleasure to see on the screen. She brings excitement to each episode and makes things interesting. Her "Pinkamena" split-personality is also intriguing.

Here is a list of reasons why she is my favorite pony.

 

1. She represents the Element of Generosity. (Best Element of harmony and the most difficult to represent.)
2. Her mane and tail are purple, my favorite color.
3. She has the same color eyes as me down to the same shade. It is hard for me to find anyone real or fictional who has the same eye color as me.
4. She is an artist.
5. She has the best lines.
6. She has the best speaking voice.
7. She has the best singing voice.
8. She has the best episodes.
9. She is beautiful.
10. She goes against a popular trope. If she was in any other show, she would be the antagonist. It is refreshing to see someone who likes beauty and fashion to be a protagonist for once.
11. She was even awesome as an antagonist. (Nightmare Rarity.)
12. She is clever.
13. She has gems on her flank.
14. She has the best character design.
15. She is very three-dimensional.
16. She is a unicorn.
17. She can get other ponies to do things for her.
18. She is fabulous.
19. She will kick your flank.
20. She is a drama queen
21. She is funny. (Even funnier than Pinkie Pie in my opinion.)
22. She made a hat out of three pieces of hay and a drinking straw. (She made it work.)
23. She is very forgiving.
24. She knows her flaws, and she sometimes uses them to her advantage.
25. She's an independent business mare.
26. She is defensive when one of her friends are hurt or may get hurt. "I'll rip you to pieces if you touch one scale on his cute little head!"
27. Her sister is the best CMC.
28. She covered herself in mud to race with her sister.
29. It only took her a few seconds to make a grumpy character smile. (It took Pinkie Pie and entire episode to do that.)
30. She was the only pony who acted mature to the CMC, and they published her entire diary which is more invasive than saying a rumor. 
31. She gave Twilight her umbrella in "Return of Harmony part 1" Right aver expressing that she did not want to get out from under her umbrella. 
32. The gem she gave Spike was able to afford an industrial size blow dryer. 
33. She has a great sense of fashion. (Unlike her friends.)
34. She has a pet cat. (Though knowing cats, Opal probably thinks she has a pet unicorn.)
35. She snuggles a lot. 
36. Haters think she has mind control powers. (Seriously, they think she is forcing ponies to do things for her as if they can't do anything about it.)
37. Thanks to her, next time I am told my room is a mess, I will tell my mother it's organized chaos. 
38. She gave up her dreams for her friends. 
39. She stood up to a rude prince. 
40. She lifted her entire shop, made dresses, and sang, at the same time!
41. She was better than Trixie in my opinion. Making a dress out of a curtain is better than turning one's mane green. 
42. She was able to enslave the diamond dogs, who first enslaved her.

Right Now my favorite pony is Fluttershy, mainly because of how multilayered she is. While on the surface she appears shy, timid and very much a follower, beneath that there is a whole lot more. When she has to be relied upon she is extremely dependable, strong, intelligent, and just an all around great friend and pony. It also helps that she is just the most Adorable pony of them all .

My favourite one from the main ones now is Twilight Sparkle. She is a powerful, cute and intelligent pony. I just love her personality. As for a secondary character, my favourite one is Discord.

Twilight Sparkle may become my new favorite. I loved her in season 4. She's so caring and kind and smart and pretty...heeheehee.
