I often compare myself to Applejack. I find myself having a similar work ethic to her, and I often overwork myself with all of the request that I get for painting cars for racing sims. Plus, I just have a thing for blondes

 

Don't really have a favorite background pony, but just threw down some random ones I somewhat recognized and who'se name wasn't Derpy, because honestly, and with ALL DUE RESPECT, I just think Derpy is rather overrated.

Anyway, my favorite is Rainbow Dash, because I can compare so much to her.

We're basically the same. If she was real, we'd be best friends for sure.

 

I really can't decide my second favorite.

It has to be between Applejack, Twilight, Scoots, and Luna.

Has to be Twilight for me. I can relate to her alot, main reason being is that she's the most normal one and has to and does put up with all the kooks of her friends. And I know it's rare, but when she gets cute, she gets CUUUUUTEEEEE! Specially Filly Twilight in the flashbacks of the Season 2 finale.

 

Secondary Character: Apple Bloom, her accent is stupidly adorable.

 

Tertiary Character: Vinyl/P0n3, at least how's she's characterized in Epic Wub Time.

My favorite pony is fluttershy because of the cuteness like many others have said, but also because she seems to be the one to step up when things wrong, like when she saved her the ponies from the dragon in the first season.

I guess the reason I love Fluttershy so much is because I can relate to her... I'm very timid unless I'm around my friends. But the show taught me not to be afraid to stand out. Also, there used to be a girl I was absolutely smitten with who Fluttershy reminded me of when I first watched the show.

Fluttershy is definitely my favorite, she's just so sweet and adorable. I have more in common with Twilight, I think, but I definitely am socially awkward/shy myself too, so... lol (around people I don't know, anyway)

 

I was tied between Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle for a while for CMC, but I've settled on Sweetie Belle. Marshmallow, unicorn, that voice, that singing voice... Etc.

 

For other ponies... Trixie is high up there, though maybe not quite as high as Luna and Celestia. Gotta love these princesses. And for the record I'm quite fond of Cadance too (why the crap isn't it Cadence? sigh), buuuut she's not on here, obviously.

I love how Derpy has 400+ Votes while all of the mane 6 have 0-200 votes I love Pinkie Pie because she knows how to do clean funny comedy, but I chose Twilight. I feel I can connect with her VERY well, how she was when she was a filly, and coming into Ponyville, how she makes light of anything that comes to imped her, and that she's very knowledgable in most criterias. I love Granny Smith otherwise too
