I don’t understand why people have to make fun of or judge someone for liking something in particular or thinking/behaving differently than they do.

Randomly thinking about the fact that in early December I ended up returning to the university I graduated from's town for just a few hours to take care of something and while stopping at a gas station ran into the one person I kind of had a crush on, but I only caught her from behind as she was leaving and I wish I had had the courage to say "Hi", but instead I felt awkward and just let her get in her car and drive away.

I know, small town and everything, but it was still very monumental that I'd run into her like that. I hate myself for not saying something.
