That feeling you get when you get a MASSIVE adrenaline rush?

Has anyone here ever experienced that? I know I have, well....a few times actually.

1. When I slid down a hill into another car in the winter.

2.Had a tractor slide down a hill towards me.

3. Get in an extremely heated argument with someone.

4.On a roof and almost managed to fall.

5. Get attacked by a dog.

I could probably name a few more, but lets call that good for now, so, you know what it feels like right, that feeling of "OMG, this cannot be happening!" followed by a feeling of massive pent up energy that seems to release all at once, causing you to do some questionable things, as time seemingly slows down, and you vision blurs.

So, what are a few times that you experienced that feeling of extreme sudden energy, and how did you feel after wards?

Yeah, I have many a time.

  • Slid off a cliff and managed to grab a branch
  • Dog pack attacked me
  • Times I've tried to kill myself
  • And probably how pissed I was that I spent money to go see Riddick in theaters, that got me riled up
  • I've nearly died by choking and drowning too many times to count, that usually does it for me too

I sometimes love the feeling of adrenaline.

-Riding a pony no taller than me over a 2'6" jump

-Galloping ponies

-Cross country on my usually calm horse, who goes totally nuts when we're outside.

Mostly horse stuff. (Okay, all horse stuff.)

Oh I forgot about the time that I almost got hit by a car. I was walking down my friends' driveway and being the idiot I am I saw my friends' car but didn't realize it was moving towards me and almost got hit. Whoops.

5. Get attacked by a dog.

Well.........for me, it wasn't a dog............its was in fact, wolves.   I went hunting with a couple of friends, for deer, and unfortunately, we stumbled upon a family of wolves.  Big mistake, b/c these guys are as smart as us.   It was also the scariest thing in my life, although they are dogs, they don't favor us.

We fuckin' ran like no tomorrow,.   Not to mention, we didn't have enough shots, (although i had a revolver and a bowie knife as back-up, thinking that if I come across a bear, it would come handy.  Wolves, on the other hand........not what we were expecting).  At least we were okay, but i think next time we do that, we carry double ammo, although i don't agree with it, but its the only way.

When I did a front flip off my bike going downhill when I accidentally used the front brake. My arm skin was falling off, and I didnt feel it til muchhhh later

I know, that's the thing with adrenaline, it gets you worked up to the point where you don't feel pain, I have cut myself with a saw before, my body released enough endorphins that I didn't even feel it till a few hours later, then I sure felt like I messed myself up!

  • Nearly getting hit by a car many times
  • Nearly getting hit by a bus many times
  • Getting into fights with people that I know will win
  • Nearly drowning
  • Falling down the stairs many times
  • After hitting my head on just about anything with enough force

Yeah... I'm a walking disaster ;3

Edit:

  • Cutting my thumb in half by accident (Well, directly down the middle for about 80% of the length of my thumb, almost down to the bone)
  • Burning my thumb on a peace of metal that had been held over a flame for about 5 minutes

Haha, I'm getting used to the pain injuries bring. I get them on a weekly basis so its no issue for me. I just pick myself up, move on & pretend it never happened :D

More times than I could possibly count at work with how physically and mentally demanding my job (dairy clerk) is, I have often used the rush to my advantage. I will have a major boost in energy, strength and focus but will be far more tired afterwards than I normally would have been, it is kind of like having a caffeine or sugar rush and then crashing down afterwards. After my most recent knee work related knee injury last November that took me out for 6 weeks (it was my 4th work related knee injury that required medical attention and the most severe one since my 1st one) and my recent minor relapse this isn't happening nearly as often as it used to. The fact is with every injury I get it gets harder and harder to bounce back making me start to seriously question if I can even physically handle it anymore. I still get rushes but they are very different, instead of boosting things they merely are my bodies attempt to get my battered right knee to actually move.

I have had adrenaline rushes in other circumstances but except in a few extremely emotional moments in my life most of them far more depressing than I even want to think about right now have not been nearly as intense. The closest I can think of are a few situations where I was playing video games and was playing a tough level/mission/objective/boss.

1. Nearly fell off a cliff while mountain biking. Managed to grab a tree and my bike at the same time

2. When my dog pulled me so hard, I let go of the leash and she goes running after my dad's car. I felt like Usain Bolt in that moment.

3. Every time I ride a roller coaster and hit the first drop.

Jeez I could fill up a book of stuff like this

>Jumping my dirt bike over a 20 foot gap for the first few times
>100MPH in a Jeep
>150MPH in a tuned up Mini Cooper
>Trying to stunt jump an 800 pound utility four-wheeler. I ended up getting tossed up about 10 feet into the air and dragged along the ground for about 15 feet
>Riding my motorcycle and an oncoming car crossed lanes to go into a collision course with me (They were texting and driving, luckily they looked up and swerved)

Once, I was play wrestling with my cousin. He then caught my punch and bent my wrist backwards, thinking it was just a movie trick. I didn't really feel the pain at first and was able to win that round by pinning him. I was victorious...then I realized my wrist was flapping and then it hurt like a bitch. Adrenaline makes you high....for a few seconds

@,

Hey, I still won the round! Granted, I ended up getting my fist shoved back into place, but whatever
