So in one of my classes at school, there's this kid who used to be a brony hater from the time I first told him about bronies. He called us fags, losers, and no lifers. To mess with him, I basically made it sound like MLP was my life. Like, I would tell him to thank Celestia for the sun, and thank Luna for the moon. He would flip and be like, "It's all fake and gay!!!". Eventually, he became curious.

 

Curiosity is the first step in becoming a brony.

 

He asked me all these questions about the show and the fandom, and I answered all of them truthfully. I told him to go home and watch an episode. He came back the next day and told me he watched "Family Appreciation Day". This is not one of my favorite episodes, so I told him to watch another one. He was like, "Ughh fine..", and he came back and told me he watched "The Last Roundup". I liked this episode, so I started talking to him all about it. He told me that he liked Rainbow Dash because she was cool. I was really happy at this point!

 

So the next few days, he kept coming to me and saying that he was watching more and more episodes. Today, we were able to actually have a full conversation. He told his favorite ponies and his least favorites. I told him I didn't like Fluttershy that much because she is kinda annoying, the way she is too shy and nice. He flipped out on me, and was like, "How could you not like her! She's so.. cute and adorable!". Inside, I was flipping out, but I kept my cool. Later in the period, I asked him if he was a brony. He kept saying no, because he thought you had to be a "fanboy" to be a brony. I told him you didn't have to be a diehard fan, and then he admitted to being a brony. I asked him for a brohoof.

 

We had a brohoof.

 

My first brohoof.. What an exciting feeling!

 

I was so happy! I have a irl friend that is a brony! That's so awesome! He told me he feels weird being called a brony because it doesn't make sense to him. He said "I don't know why I like this show. It makes me so happy, and it's so cute.". That's what proves his bronyness.

I even got one of my cousins to watch it and she won't even watch more than one episode. She said she "just can't get into it".
