A day with best pony or $10k?

After taxes it's about 4k if my math is correct which really isn't that much.  I could probably get someone in my family to get it for me and feign flu or something.
Definitely go with hanging out with Dash.  I'd probably just get beaten in DDR.

Money. I'm one of the few who will say that. Honestly, the pony's personalities aren't really well-developed enough for me to want to meet them. They're fun to watch, of course. But I have little interest in actually meeting them in reality. Especially when there are other characters in media who are infinitely more interesting and seem more like real people. 

 

Besides, even though I don't think money is the most important thing and honestly hate the fact that it controls our world, it still is a huge and important thing sadly. I could be infinitely more useful with $10,000. It'd allow me to live how I want to live for a bit, and let all of this debt we have get paid off quickly. We'd be so much happier than a brief moment with an underdeveloped character.

 

Now if this was a different offer, say, going to another world and staying there forever or getting that much money... I'd go with the former option. Otherwise? Not worth it.

$100,000 wouldn't be enough for me to miss a day with my fav pony. 

 

One thing though -- I would prefer to spend a day with ponies that are not on my top 3 list.  I mean Twilight is #4 but she would be able to influence my life in a single day more than Fluttershy who is my #1.  Luna would be the same.

A day with Derpy, Luna or Fluttershy or 10k?... Right now, I'm pretty darn financially secure for a college student. I'm doing just fine for my needs and wants and I wouldn't even know what to do with that much money besides invest it. Then what?

Yeah, an extra $10k would be very useful, but money is a transient thing, like all possessions. One day it will all be spent, stolen, or simply hoarded away serving no purpose but to grant me some feeling of security about my future. But I can make money through my own labor, enough to survive and be comfortable.

 

The friendship I would experience with someone so wonderful and the memories I would carry throughout my life is worth more to me than anything tangible.
