Splashee 28,560 December 30, 2019 Share December 30, 2019 It's snew so much it almost covered my entire pony! No, I say snowed because it must be correct English, right? Hey, I am not the expert on English.
EpicEnergy 23,144 December 30, 2019 Share December 30, 2019 I don't know of anyone who says "it snew outside", and the word "snew" sounds very incorrect and annoying anyways. *totally not up to any shenanigans*
Splashee 28,560 December 30, 2019 Share December 30, 2019 I played on my SNES last night. It SNEW a lot outside while I was playing Super Mario World. Okay, annoying as h*ll!

Tacodidra 61,033 December 31, 2019 Share December 31, 2019 (edited) "Snew" seems to be a dialectal form, and I can say for sure I've never heard of it before. As for "stupider", that doesn't sound wrong to me at all – it's rather "more stupid" that sounds a bit clumsy to me (likewise with "more clever" as opposed to "cleverer"). As for grammatical things that bother me, I'll have to mention "aren't I". Even though it seems to be accepted these days, it will always sound wrong to me (I'd just go with "am I not"). Edited December 31, 2019 by Tacodidra I misread my source – it's a dialectal form, not an obsolete one. 5 Signature by @Sparklefan1234
Totally Nyx 35,972 December 31, 2019 Share December 31, 2019 So this is where that came from. As funny as snew sounds, I'm not sure I could ever say it with a straight face. But you never know, it could turn into one of those "word"s I don't like at first, then slowly start using, then start even liking, then start evolving... like pl0xaurus rex. 2 Signature made by @Sparklefan1234 (Thank you!) Dreambiscuit 9,575 December 31, 2019 Share December 31, 2019 'Snowed' may be grammatically correct but 'snew' is so much more stylish! Therefore it shall be henceforth and forever known as 'snew.' I have spoken.

I think this a sign for me to go to bed, what little energy I had left is now nicely drained by means of grammatical crisis.

ZiggWheelsManning 9,780 September 20 Share September 20 "Snowed" has to be right in every means. "Snew" should only be used with the alarm clock's option of "snooze" 1 2 1 Special thanks to Emerald Heart for the banner!
Dreambiscuit 9,575 September 29 Share September 29 You could take this to another level by adding past tense, such as “It has snown.” 1
