I'd argue it's more 95% But yes, it's true. I'd argue it's because typically, men are more outgoing about their bodies than women are. Sure, I know of some women who like to be revealing. But very few women actually enjoy being full-out naked compared to men. Or, if more women than I think really do enjoy it, they're not as outgoing about telling people than men are. I could also argue that women know men sexualize nudity a lot, and so they do not choose to be naked because of that.

I probably should have clarified. I'm pro-nudist as a choice, not as a requirement. People should have the freedom to be naked if they so choose... and it should not be punished under the law. Now, when sexuality is involved, then we get into a sticky situation. I don't think that should be allowed (in public). Animals were meant to have sex privately anyway... not just humans. Sex makes animals vulnerable to predators.

I'm going to be blunt here. I'm an all-out pro-nudist. I feel we should be more accepting of nudity as first off, it isn't sexual... and secondly, research has shown evidence that nudism and nudity has several benefits: It's more healthy for you (as long as you take extra precautions, including hygiene) It improves self esteem about your body and the bodies of others It helps you disconnect the tie between nudity and sexuality that society often puts on you It reduces the "shock value" of nudity. This, in combination with the disconnect between nudity and sex, means I feel nudism would reduce sex crimes over time. With that being said, yes, I sometimes do go around nude. In fact, I've done nude hiking before. I mean granted I wear shoes (sensitive feet), so can't say I'm fully nude... but it feels really nice to let go and be free... and to be one with nature. Another nude activity I secretly enjoy... being naked in the rain on a warm day. The rain is very refreshing on your body. It's not like a shower, which is what a lot of people think. Rain is very natural and has healing properties that your house water does not have, such as more of an ionic charge. Thus, rain can make you feel more refreshed than a shower would, at least in my opinion. Disclaimer... I don't go nude around other people obviously. My country seriously frowns on nudity. You can get arrested for it and even be forced to register as a sex offender just from being naked. It really sucks, especially since nudity has nothing to do with sex.

My god is Princess Celestia jk. I used to be a christian. Now I'm an individualist... I believe in my own beliefs. My spiritual beliefs allign mostly with Universalist as well as Agnosticism. I believe in a force, but I don't know what that force is. I'm thinking it's universal energy, since everything has to have energy to even exist. Not to mention, energy can be scientifically proven, unlike the gods of christianity and other religions (no offense). And energy keeps our Universe in harmony.

Trigger warning I live in the United States. There is so much wrong with this country that I can go on for hours. First, check out the opening scene of the Newsroom, specifically starting at about 3:45: . This speaks a whole lot of truth for the United States of America. Now, with that being said, here are my thoughts on why our country is not the greatest. Besides the fact we only lead the world in those who believe in angels, number of incarcerated citizens per capita, and defense spending... we have a lot wrong with our country. The biggest problem: capitalism. Our country runs heavily on the power of money. In fact, money can even influence government decisions. Just look at this year's elections. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Both are in the top 1%. That's probably one of the main reasons they're in the main campaign, and no one sane like Bernie Sanders has made it. Jill Stein and Gary Johnson are also running, and are more sane than the two main ones... but let's face it, they'll never win. Our media is extremely biased, and so are our elections. They wouldn't let any third party win. They'll stick to either democrats or republicans (both of which are also corrupted parties.) Donald Trump is a racist, sexist, violence-inducing douchebag who should not be running in the elections, especially since he violated the law by appointing Russians to spy on Hillary Clinton and try to get more info on her emails. Hillary Clinton is a shady flip-flop turd sandwich who will support whatever the corporations will "buy" her to support. Who knows what she'll do if elected? You don't hear of the crap Bill Clinton did behind the scenes. Why? The Clintons have excellent Public Relations, and they can easily hide things from the public (or at least convince you their actions are justified). Let's go back to wealth. The top 0.7% of our country own 50% of America's wealth. Almost 50% of Americans are in poverty. Minimum wage still has not grown enough to keep up with inflation. We're approaching $20 TRILLION in national debt. The wage gap between genders is 0.77 cents on the dollar for women compared to men... and that's just for full-time caucasian individuals. The gap is even bigger if you account minorities. Speaking of minorities, black individuals are up to 4 times more likely to be incarcerated for the same crimes they commit as white individuals. Almost half of those incarcerated are minor offenders (usually drug dealers). We have so few major offenders incercerated, such as murderers, rapists, and pedophiles... because our justice system makes it hard to convict such offenders (and they also don't want to put as much into those crimes). In fact, the chances of a rapist being incarcerated are so minute that on average a rapist isn't incarcerated until they have sexually assaulted 12 individuals. Speaking of rapists, 1 in 4 women will be sexually assaulted in college. 1 in 6 women in the country have been sexually assaulted in their lives. Status often dictates how long rapists are convicted for, if they're even convicted at all. Just look at Brock Turner, who got such a small sentence for his crime because he was a white male with exceptional athletic skills... and because his dad made an argument that Brock was, to put it blunt, a weakling who can't handle the prison system. Human Trafficking is a major problem in our country. We don't delegate enough resources to crack down on human trafficking... leaving many victims trapped for several years in the system. Public services, which should be a RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE, are not. Education and healthcare are the two biggest public services. Our country should be investing in these services rather than using them as a profitable business. In fact, we're one of the only developed nations without a stable universal healthcare system (apart from I think Mexico). If they invest in these services, we'd have more educated individuals for the workforce as well as more healthy individuals. What do you get with that? You get a stronger economy and a stronger workforce. The police force has much to be desired. They too run on a profit business. Whatever will earn them the most and easiest money is what they'll go after. That's why you see police crack down on parking tickets, drug dealers, and other minor offenders more often than major offenders. They feel it's not worth the time, energy, and finances to invest in dealing with major offenses. Did you know many police stations have out of date rape kits? In terms of progressive reform, our country lags. Racism, sexism, ableism, and classism exist strongly in our country. You would think as a developed nation that we would know better. But no. I'm not going to even go into statistics for these because there are just too many. --- And THAT, my friend, is what I hate about my country.

Inspired by another blog entry discussing what a Brony is according to a podcast (and kind of criticizing it for assuming Bronies like sexual stuff), I decided to share with you an article I wrote with the help of Joseph Marx (a friend) on what a Brony is. This article was published in my college newspaper and was a part of the "Alphabet series"... where every week they'd post 2 articles following a sequence of the letters of the alphabet. Enjoy!

I have several fan ships I dislike lol. Fluttershy and Discord, though cute, is a little questionable in my opinion. I more prefer the Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash ship, both because they're both pegasi, and also because they have quite opposite personalities (Yin Yang, they'd compliment each other). Rarity and Spike is also cute, but kinda creepy in my opinion because Spike is, in our terms, underage. Big Mac and Applejack is incestuous so that's creepy for me. There's also some disturbing R34 I've had the misfortune of coming across for the two of them. Starlight Glimmer and Twilight Sparkle is also kinda creepy. I don't know why honestly, but I never really seen them as two ponies who could hit it off with each other. Now Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle is a different story XD. I think my all-time favorite ship is Vinyl Scratch and Octavia. They share one interest: Music. But otherwise, their personalities are contradictory but oh-so complimentary. Octavia likes classical, while Vinyl likes modern Electronic. Octavia is reserved while Vinyl is outgoing. And they annoy each other sometimes with their musical tastes (except for the fan episode special lol. That... was... AWESOME).

I don't recall ever being banned myself, except for one time, but that doesn't count because I literally asked to be banned for personal reasons XD I might have been suspended once or twice, but that was so long ago if it did happen that I wouldn't be able to remember it. And it definitely wasn't on any Brony sites. I'll admit, I feel I should have been banned from one Brony site because I was a rebel, but it never happened.

Honestly, though I've been better now than before, I've been extremely stressed. School is cutting into work hours... add on to that an 8-day hospital visit from stress overload and I was ruined financially for the month. Can't afford rent this month, so I have to pay double next month, meaning I have to work at minimum 30 hours per week. But, that won't be possible with school... but it's too late to cancel classes without major consequences (and no refund). So I'm going to talk to financial aid and possibly an ombudsman to see what I can do. Wish me luck...
