  1. It never cease to amaze me how some guys can embrace MLP, the most girliest feminist thing in the world, and yet be against femininity and feminism. U so silly...

  2. So... some people say they got nothing against gay people, yet work to ban people from being gay... how does this make any logical sense what so ever again!? That's like saying you have nothing against black people but only want to allow white people to be allowed to vote, I mean what on earth!

It doesn't make much sense, to be honest...

  3. Could you add a "disappointing" option to that poll? Because I am disappointed I have to be grouped with a community that consists of a large amount of homophobes, racists and bullies who just pretend they are better than that and going around saying "love and tolerate" about everything without actually being loving and tolerating.
  4. Fair warning, SR3 is often recognized as the worst game in the series, and I haven't heard a lot of nice things about GTA4 either.
  5. Saints Row IV got silly comedy, playable female characters, crazy amounts of customizations, amazingly entertaining superpowers, a fun cheesy story, memorable characters, absolutely no sense of realism, creative over the top nonsense and a unique art style, so I went with it over the gritty realistic manly man fantasy of GTA. I am sure GTA5 is a great game for it's intended audience, and probably contains several of the points I put above in favor of SR4, but personally I love me some fighting aliens with telekinesis, Dubstep guns and super speed/jumping over realistic heists.
  6. Krysta Cameron is absolutely amazing, both at brutal Death Growls and beautiful clean singing. I can't find the name of her, but the vocalist of Abnormality is probably one of the best growlers ever.
  7. So guys, remember when we had a fun thread where people who were actually into cross dressing shared stories, pictures and other fun stuff and we didn't get into debates about Liberalism and censorship? Fun times.
  8. I mostly listen to one song at a time and pick what I feel like listening to at the time, though I also like full albums from time to time. Nothing's like listening through The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails for some depressing sad time, Chuck by Sum 41 for some frustration release and Ziltoid The Omniscient by Devin Townsend for a big bunch of tounge in cheek Prog Metal comedy epicness.
  9. So you at the same time are completely against cross dressing and want "everybody to stick with their own clothing", while still claiming you don't mind it... I am sorry but I don't see your logic here.
  10. I find it fascinating to see alternate universes that might have happened had the villains won
  11. First off, you are mocking the act of cross-dressing with your "novelty attire and Nerf gun" comparison considering there is often a lot of social norms which also spans sexuality and gender identity that comes along with cross dressing that obviously a vampire cape don't bring with it. Secondly, yes I would find it odd, BUT I wouldn't give nasty looks to someone wearing silly things on the street, if anything I would be happy for them for daring to express themselves in the way they please and find it to be a good thing.
  12. So you are comparing dressing in feminine attires that were completely acceptable for men to wear about 100 years ago with novelty costumes especially created to look silly?
  13. Silent mockery can be just as hurtful as loud mockery. Imagine if you liked to wear, say, baggy pants because it was comfortable and people kept looking with disapproving eyes on you like you were out to rob them and shoot people, would you have found that particularly pleasant?
  14. No need to get snarky here. Besides, me mentioning negativity doesn't equal preaching negativity, I am just pointing out something I think we could all benefit from thinking about some when making new threads. And sure, have your own opinion in the OP whether it be negative or not, but keeping the title neutral and open for discussion does just that, it opens it to discussion and allows more people to come in and talk about it, not only the ones who dislike the media in question.
  15. But again, why make new threads and have it all be on bashing the media in question? If we made a thread about, say, the Saw films and having the title be "Saw Discussion" rather than "Saw, The Worst Film Ever" or something like that, people could still say they disliked it, but those who liked it could also come with their opinion, and we could all live in harmony and have cake and ice cream. It's not that hard for what might say a lot for the general attitude of the forum environment in the long run.
  16. Well I am sorry for the misunderstanding (English isn't my first language), but yeah that is my entire question here, why have the topic titles be negative and steer the thread into negativity from the start when staying neutral in the title might help give more views from both sides when discussing such harmless things as entertainment. Sure, if you are making a thread about someone getting murdered or some other serious topic like that it's of course entirely okay to be negative and focus on what a terrible thing it is that have happened, but if it's a topic about a opinion on a character, TV show, band, etc. it's just better to keep it open to discussion instead of having all the focus being on "how much it sucks" when that obviously will never be the opinion of everyone.
  17. I think you guys are misunderstanding me here. I am not saying to not discuss things that are negative, I am just saying that when making a thread about a subject that is about normal harmless entertainment and such it might be better to start it up without a bias in the title to allow both those who dislike and those who like the media to add in their 2 cent without feeling they are unwelcome because the OP have a strong enough opinion to name their entire thread after their opinion.
  18. Well I am mostly asking everyone in general to try and do that for their titles rather than asking the admin team to go around changing things
  19. Well there is a difference between "Emotional" and "Sad" though (something people who hates Emos and triple A game developers seems to forget most of the time). But my point is that when someone makes a discussion topic, it seems on this forum even more so than any other forum I have been too it starts out pointing at something negative. When making a new thread, what I am asking is to try to and hold the title if nothing else neutral if not positive at least, don't start a topic named "Do You Hate Harry Potter?" but instead "Your Opinion on Harry Potter?" as an example out of the top of my head.
  20. So I have seen a lot of threads on the forums here in general having a title like "worst X" or "least favorite X" or other negative things, and I wondered why? Wouldn't it be better to focus on your favorite things rather than the negatives, have threads about "best X" or just neutral opinions on something? Now I am not saying to not discuss negative things or anything of the sorts, but if you are making a thread about a TV show, a band, a character, etc. I think it would be better to keep the title neutral so everyone would feel welcome to post in the topic no matter their opinion on the entertainment in question.
  21. She is TEH FREAKING DEVIL, how can you not find that bloody awesome? I might have said it before, but her suddenly turning out to be TEH DEVIL was what made the whole movie for me.
  22. Personally I think it should be optional, but yeah it would be nice to have the option indeed. Gender confusion is pretty annoying, and I find it kind of weird that everyone assumes everyone else is a guy on a pony forum. Shifting Gears' design suggestion seems like the best way to go if we are to implement this (though perhaps without the blue and pink color differences, have both be purple or something)
  23. I am honestly not sure what defines Emo as a genre anymore, but I know that I do like Emo, Screamo, Post-Hardcore and any Pop Punk and Pop Rock bands that are mislabeled as Emo for the most part =P Does this song count as Emo?
  24. Well it is a comedy song, kind of like Norway's version of Gangamn Style with less satire and more silly noises. It's intentionally silly and made by comedians.
  25. So how aboot that "love and toleration" thing eh? We don't do that anymore or?

I've seen worse; bullying. At a different forums, I used to think that I didn't need to worry about being respected. That was until I was fiercely shot down when I proposed an idea nobody could see working. My best efforts to stay calm, civil and technical in my argumentation belied the wounds inflicted. When I talked to someone about it, it had turned out that the way I argue; "fortified and backed up" is "intimidating".

So really, all that time those people just needed an opening to tear me apart. And so they did. As I made a last attempt to keep myself open and vulnerable, expressing my hurt, the few responses that I did get were either blaming me for it or a fake smile from someone who I never got along with and was heavily involved in said ragging. And this is why I'm on MLP Forums; hopeful but ever cautious.
