    Most of the guys in my 'friendzone' list put themselves there, so I can't really add much to this conversation other than you actually need to ask the girl out, because chances are she wont guess that's what you're hoping for. Some many guys who were friends I would have dated if they'd had the guts, now no chance because I'm engaged. Honestly, I wouldn't date a guy unless he'd been my friend first. This may just be a personal thing, but I like to have a general knowledge of a person before I let them that close to me. My fiance was my friend for almost a year before he asked me out and he and I just fit, if you get what I mean. Also...he was not overly buff, as skinny as a rake and teenage-boy-adversed to showering when I met him. But he treated me with respect, kindness and listened to what I have to say. We had similarities in music and the way we thought, and while he brought out my sensible side I gave him some giggles. I've never put much stock in appearances. Friends and even lovers can come from unlikely sources.

    I really don't understand what the big deal is about not having someone on valentine's day. All my friends always seem ridiculously down on the day, and yet it has never mattered to me. Without him, it used to be just another day to me. Never paid it any heed. With my fiancé, I don't need a day to tell him I love him. I do it frequently.

    Uh...I live with my parents and my fiance, so his wages are pretty expendable... - 40 inch TV in the bedroom - Asus gaming laptop (specs new last eyar) - Asus netbook that becomes a tablet - Kindle each - Old style DS - 3DS and about 20 games... - Dell laptop - New iPod Nano - Steelseries headphones - £60 headphones, I forget the make... - XBox 360 - N64 and a couple of games - PS1 for dance mat I did have a Wii and a Gamecube, but I sold them to upgrade other things.
