  1. Eating Malteasers for Breakfast and wondering when I'm going to stop trawling around these forums and do something useful...
  2. I don't want to fly. ._. It would scare me. Now going invisible, that would be cool.
  3. ^ this pretty much sums Rarity up in a nutshell. She gave the dragon her tail because she decided his fashion sense was off, and made the dresses for the girls because she believes her eyes to be better than the others - Twilight's old dress was heavily frowned upon, since it wasn't up to Rarity's standards - she lacks an awareness of others, in my opinion.
  4. Twilight is my favourite, mostly because she reminds me of me. Fluttershy...while her mannerisms are cute, she lacks some kind of personality for me. ._.
  5. I don't believe in destiny, or karma for that matter. I believe stuff just...happens, a bit like in a poker game...Some ponies get bad draws and others get good ones, you just gotta ride them out and hope your next hand is better.
  6. Twilight Sparkle Since this is the first pony you meet, I'll start with her - she and I have a lot on common, and as such I latched onto Twilight quite quickly. Her general mannerisms, her way of thinking and her reactions to the other ponies were rather similar to ones I would have experienced myself having been thrown into Ponyville. We both share an insatiable love of books, of trying to help other ponies even if it isn't remotely useful to anyone, a hatred of parties into the early hours, an adoration of checklists and being able to check things off them, as well as a love of knowledge and understanding. As the series has gone on my impeccable view of Twilight has slipped a little as she has shown herself to be a little naive in some cases and overbearing in others where she shouldn't have been, though I had identified these in my own character a long time ago and as such she remains my favourite of the mane six. Pinkie Pie The second pony you meet, and therefore my second description. My first impression of Pinkie was...an eyebrow raise. I assumed she would be a mane character from that moment on, since she had such a dramatic entrance, but other than that I had no real reaction to her at the off. My later opinion of her further into the episode was one of stereotypical dislike - there's always an eccentric character in a show to make people laugh, and seemed Pinkie was it. She doesn't disappoint either, most of her character and mannerisms hanging off of this mad visage she hangs about herself most of the time. She's about equal with Rarity in my opinions, as far as ponies go. While I have no problem with hyperactive people or ponies, her general loudness is enough to throw me off instantly. Applejack I did like Applejack from the start, I must admit. Her accent reminded me of America more than any other accents in the show, and from the off she cane across as a proud and loyal pony that would make a good friend. The amount of family around Apple Acres at the time, half of which seem never to have been seen again, was amusing, and as the series progresses she remains true to that first impression given all those episodes ago. While she is sometimes loyal to a fault it is an endearing quality and she surely should be a role model for other ponies rather than just a ranch girl. Rainbow Dash Quick-hooved and slow-brained with a touch of overly developed self-importance, though at least her belief in her abilities seems to be well placed. My first impressions of the pony were as above - not someone I would like to hang out with on a regular basis. The boasting would surely get on my nerves, and I would be forced to stamp on her face for it eventually...a bit of a violent reaction, but an honest opinion, none the less. As the series progresses my lack of affection for her does not change, and even in series two I find her almost unbearable and overly brash and self-proclaimed. She may have the abilities she claims to have, but she has no sense of modesty. Rarity Second in my dislike only to Rainbow Dash, Rarity is very low on my list of ponies I liked at all, let alone ponies I liked from the start. My impression of her as she handled the decorations was that she was a perfectionist - something that isn't a bad trait - but she bares a few resemblances to Rainbow Dash in her self-important mannerisms, though she adds a feminine twist to them. As the series develops she comes across as prissy and self-important, only helping another pony when it is truly necessary, and when it won't get her hooves dirty. Alongside that she's a little snooty, and I get the feeling she looks down on some of the other ponies simply because they lack the same tastes. Not somepony I'd like to spend too much time with. Fluttershy This pony is...adorable, but so shy it's almost physically disabling to the poor girl. Impressions hung on this for a few episodes, until a little more of Fluttershy came out of her shell. I can't say I like her, but she doesn't really have any traits that I find terribly nasty, leaving her comfortably in the middle. She's sweet and tried her best to please other people, even if it takes her out of her way to do so. What can I say...somepony needed to be a neutral...Fluttershy's the neutral for me.
  7. I was wondering about the seeming lack of brewing part of the cider...over in England it's assumed that cider will have a rather strong alcoholic content, otherwise we'd just label it 'Apple Juice' and sell it to children. The processes shown in the episode suggest alcohol-free cider though, since there was no fermentation steps.
  8. I love the intro. It's reflects the feel-good-ness of the show as a whole.
  9. While I find Rarity's character amusing to watch, if one of my friends acted like that it would really annoy me. She comes across as stuck up to me, and not a likeable pony at all.
  10. I have a hard time pegging myself with any of the elements, in general. - I'm not carefree and whispy like air - The passion of fire affiliation eludes me - When things go wrong I lack fluidity, ruling out water I guess earth makes the most sense, since I tend to be rational and think things through before I do anything, even if this hesitation is often my downfall.
  11. I rather enjoyed the Fable series on the XBox. Though the next one is going to Kinect exclusive, and we don't have space for it... Still addicted to Pokemon games - have been since the first hit the shelves. That and the Sims for now, basically. Lol.
  12. This game is 20% cooler than other games.
  13. Eh, my friends won't even risk watching it. Maybe they're afraid they'll be sucked into the fandom and never get out again, not that it's a bad thing, but you know...manly and feminine pride and all that ridiculous rubbish. Most of them don't talk about it unless I bring it up, but one takes the Michael every time I wear my shirt. I rip her back for spending too long on YouTube watching cat videos. It's a mutual antagonism.
  14. Sims 3 has it's claws in me for now. ._.
  15. Unfortunately not, though I think a perfect world would be rather dull... I don't agree with people who aren't in the forces being allowed to keep guns. I understand that you want to protect your property and families, but if guns are scarcely available chances are the robber won't have one, and then you just need a big dog. Old fashioned methods FTW.
  16. At the moment, Lady Antebellum. But it changes. <.<
  17. 32 jars of jellied eels. because their gross. And that last post? It also posted on the thread I wanted it to post in. My post migrated? o.O
