  1. I love it.. so cute!! Lots of love
  2. All that noise...Number Cruncher knew he had good reason to worry about the train. He saw that Scribblegroove managed to make it into the hole safely. Cruncher wasn't about to die like a bug on the train tracks. Not now.. he needed to get in there fast. The train was almost approaching. He didn't have enough time to utilize unicorn magic. Oh well, it was probably best to do what Scribblegroove did. Cruncher was an active runner but this was certainly the craziest run he ever did and it was only about a foot at most. Made it just in time. Another second of hesitation and he would have been dead... Cruncher sighed with relief when he saw the other four made it and commented with a chuckle, "Sorry that I took so long."
  3. Apparently there is some stuff outside the show which disproves Discord being Star Swirl.. but think of how cool it would be!! Star Swirl, a brilliant magician, was preparing some <enter clichéd spell that improves life in Equestria tenfold> but the spell backfired! He was transformed into a draconequus, a.k.a Discord. Discord was never able to find a way to turn back into the unicorn he once was.. he decided to live life in his draconequus form for better or worse. Also, there's nothing that doesn't suggest that Star Swirl was a wise-cracking, brilliant, troublemaker when he was a unicorn. And remember, outside the show isn't the same as inside the show It could still happen!!
  4. According to the comics, Cadence was a pegasus before she became an alicorn.. so I think it's possible for pegasi to become alicorns too.. even if the comics are not part of MLP canon. But in Derpy's case, that is what fan art is for, Derpy is perhaps one of the more deserving characters to become an alicorn!
  5. Number Cruncher needed to stop Kay from falling. He saw that Anala had already made an attempt by pushing Kay's hind legs forward. It seemed to be working, but they needed to keep balance. There was a danger in both of them falling off. "Perhaps, I can use my magic to help Anala keep her balance and she can push Kay upwards." Numbers knew a balancing spell - one which could help a pony stay still. Numbers was currently using it on himself, the danger was that he might lose balance himself, but if it would help keep Anala steady and Kay would be able to get on the rail. Hopefully, Scribblegroove was in good enough shape to put up a levitation spell, if any of the three on top were to fall to the ground.
  6. Not gonna happen, but I'd love the idea.. the twist of a lifetime.
  7. "Apple Family Reunion" did all but state explicitly that Applejack's parents passed away.. as someone already said, remember the scene with the shooting stars. Something tells me that this will be left to the world of fan art, I'd love to see an episode done on this...but probably not going to happen thanks to Hasbro and its desire to sell toys. I read a pretty good story a while ago which had Applejack's parents be killed by timberwolves in the Everfree Forest while returning from a family event..
  8. I'd go with "Secret of My Excess" for best Spike episode. Interesting take on the dangers of being a dragon.
  9. Number Cruncher followed Kay's lead and went through with the plan. After an awkward second of trying to keep his balance, Number Cruncher land on top of Scribblegroove adding to the pony tower. "Easy enough, now it's time to get Anala on", Number Cruncher began his attempt to levitate to Anala.. hopefully, him and Kay would be enough.
  10. I'm not embarrassed to say that my answer would be hell yes! Count me in.
  11. Pinkie Pie.. I could see her wanting to sing any song.. but anything by Ke$ha would work particularly well.
  12. I'd definitely accept the challenge, As long as I don't end up in the same situation as Rainbow Dash in "Magical Mystery Cure"...
  13. Number Cruncher couldn't believe the situation he was in, but everything seemed so damn real.. just magnified approximately a hundred times in size. Number Cruncher heard the suggestion of Kay Dreamer and said with calm confidence, "It's certainly worth a try. Between the two of us, we should be able to get Anala to the top." On the inside, Cruncher was a tad nervous. He considered himself a pony in good shape and would probably would be able to help Kay.. but one important question.... when will the next train go over the tracks? Cruncher approached the tower which consisted of Blaze and Scribblegroove. He smiled at Kay and Anala.
  14. I figured I would take a shot at the characters.. some of the ones above I disagree with or can't really make a good judgment (since personality isn't developed enough). Twilight: Agree!! Main type being 6w5!! Applejack: 368 could work, but honestly I could also see 369. 9s can be incredibly stubborn. Applejack is brutally honest, but she doesn't strike me as being confrontational or power-seeking.. if anything she often seems to be one of the more agreeable ponies of the Mane Six. If her gut fix is 8, it's 8w9 not 8w7. Also, I think her main type is 6w7.. especially when you look at episodes like "Apple Family Reunion" and "Somepony to Watch Over Me".. typical 6w7 overreactions. Rainbow Dash: Agree, main type being 7w6! Counterphobic 6w7 is also a possibility though, I'll admit.. but RD's ego is way too out in the open..even when she isn't facing some sort of fear- with a cp 6, you only see that approach when the person thinks he or she has a fear to overcome. Rarity: Not a 4 fix!! Rarity is a classic 3 fix and probably has that for her main type. Rarity is far too eager to be impressive/successful in the eyes of others. A 4 is moreso that kind who is in love with his/her self image that nothing can take that away. Rarity is a lot more adaptable. I think 3w4 is her main type. I agree with 1 and 6 fixes, making her a 136. Pinkie Pie: YES YES YES!!! 279!!! Without a doubt!! 7w6 as the main type. Fluttershy: Indeed.. sweet Fluttershy is perfect as 269.. 9w1 as the main type. Trixie: I see 378 moreso than 478.. 3 fix over 4 fix for similar reasons as Rarity. Except Trixie might actually be an 8w7 rather than a core 3 (as seen in "Magic Duel") Celestia: 125 works. I feel like Celestia's personality hasn't been developed enough to be sure- but that seems right given her role as Twilight's mentor. Simultaneously stern and playful... deserving of her power and private. I think her core type would be 2w1. Luna/Nightmare Moon: 468 works when the show actually decides to give Luna some character.. "Luna Eclipsed", "Friendship is Magic", "For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils", "Sleepless in Ponyville". Luna is likely a 4w3. Spike: 126? I don't think so. He's more likely to be a 269 with 6w7 as the core type. Spike is very malleable and doesn't show particularly strong convictions as you would see in a 1 or a 1-fix.. compare Spike to characters like Twilight and Rarity or Harshwhinny. Apple Bloom: 137 could work I guess... I dunno.. I was actually thinking 379, but I guess 1-fixed kids can still have a carefree attitude towards life. Apple Bloom does take on the role as leader of her group while Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are more passive.. and more 9-fix like. I would say Apple Bloom's core type is 3w2. Sweetie Belle: 269? Yes, perfect! Not quite as passive as Fluttershy, but still has that sweet persona (or Is it pony-sona?). I'd say she's a 6w7 or a 9w1 prone to petulance. Scootaloo: 369. This works really well for Scoots. She's ambitious and has role models who she emulates greatly. She's the one I'm most confident about being triple-harmony. She's also most likely a 6w7. Diamond Tiara: 378. I hate her so much.. but yeah, that works.. triple aggressive, triple asshole. She's an 8w7 bully. Silver Spoon: 268, it's kinda hard to tell with her being DT's lackey, but I was thinking 368 actually. Probably a 6w7. Chrysalis: 358, hmmmm... I guess I could see how that would work. She seems like a 3w4 to me. Discord: 479, yep! This explains a lot about Discord actually and his actions.. I would say he's a 7w6. Octavia: 146, on the show, she's a background pony with no lines... but from the fan art, I would say this is most likely Octavia's tritype. Somewhat serious with a dramatic edge. Probably a 1w9. Vinyl Scratch: 279, on the show, she's a background pony with no lines.. but from the fan art, I would say this is most likely Vinyl's tritype. A triple-positive type like Pinkie Pie. Probably a 7w8. Zecora: 259, yes this works. This is the tritype most likely to have pride in not having an ego. She's grounded, reclusive, and knowledgeable. Perhaps a 5w6? Lightning Dust: 378 works. A lot of comparisons are made between her and Rainbow Dash. Lightning Dust is more ruthless than RD ever was.. which comes from the 8-fix which can't "not give a shit" like Rainbow Dash. Cadance: 269, not particularly developed on the show [i heard the comics do a better job with her].. but this seems to work. On the show, she seems like a 2w1/2w3. Shining Armor: 368? I don't really see the 8 in him. He seems more like a 1 to me... kind of guided more by reason than gut. He also seems very dutiful. I would say he's a 136 like Twilight with 3w2 as the main type. As for other characters!!! Bon-Bon: 136 with 6w5 as main type [largely based off my fanfics and from what I've seen otherwise.. but my fics give her more of a 3-ish side.. a fiery sense of ambition.. however, while based on typical fan art.. 126 seems to be the better fit.] Lyra: 279 with 9w1 as main type [yet again, largely based off my fanfics.. that's what she's kind of like in the fan art too.. except "Anthropology" makes her more 5-like than 7-like..] Maud Pie: 459 with 5w6 as the main type. She's your classic triple-withdrawn type.. doesn't express herself to the world around her, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to her on the inside. What makes Maud such an awesome character is that she is so different than any of the Mane Six. Tirek: 358 with 8w7 as the main type. Classic power-hungry villain with lofty ambitions. He's the best villain this show has produced so far. No sense of loyalty given the way he turned on Discord. Cheese Sandwich: 379 with 7w6 as the main type.. a lot of similarities to Pinkie, but I'm giving Cheese the 3w2 fix rather than Pinkie's 2w3 fix. Cheese is more into showing the world how great of a party pony he is and has loner streak, while Pinkie isn't focused on how she comes across to others. A good example of how 3-fixed 7s can be different than 2-fixed 7s. Ms. Harshwhinny: 126, she's your classic triple-compliant type.. stern and meticulous without a desire to make herself the "star of the show". Her main type is 1w9. Big McIntosh: 269, the strong nice guy type. Easygoing and helpful to those around him, I would say he's a 9w1 like Fluttershy. Granny Smith: 379 seems about right for her.. but have to see more of what she was like when she was younger since they are clearly playing on the "kooky old lady who tells tall tales" stereotype. I would say core 7w6. It's really hard to say to be honest... Flim Flam Brothers: 379, image-conscious, ambitious, adaptable, and entertaining.. yea that seems about right. 3w2 as core type for both Flim and Flam. Your "con-artist" type. Iron Will: 378. Triple-aggressive. He's an 8w7 who has a powerful presence. The sort of type you don't see often in Ponyville and a better representation of his tritype than that 2-D personality sociopath Diamond Tiara. Cranky Doodle Donkey: 269 with 6w5 as a tritype, a seemingly curmudgeonly character with a sad story. His remarks to Pinkie are classic 6w5 and I'd say 2/9 fixes. As of now, I can't think of anypony else who has a typable personality.. but those are my thoughts!
  15. Race : Unicorn Where I would live: Manehattan Pet: Dog Ponies I would hang out with: Lyra and Bon-Bon Occupation: Auditor
  16. I don't think the castle is going to take away from Twilight's adorkability. Unless Hasbro gets extra greedy and turns the fifth season into a yawn fest about pony princesses. In that case, comparing Hasbro to Tirek wouldn't be a stretch.
  17. I wonder what would have happened if Tirek didn't betray Discord and take away his magic. Ironically, I think Tirek would of had a better shot of winning if he kept Discord by his side. I say "ironically" since Tirek seemed to think that dumping Discord was the better move. Think about it. Discord would of still had the key Twilight needed to obtain. Discord would still have been gung-ho about helping Tirek and offer his "chaotic services". Tirek would have still been able to take Twilight's alicorn magic with the same deal: "friends for alicorn magic". Tirek would have taken over Equestria. Discord would have let it happen. Tirek would still have been powerful enough to squash Discord later if he decided to go "all chaos" in a way that brought a threat to Tirek's power. Tirek is clearly one of the brighter characters on the show, but I think that turning his back on Discord was perhaps the dumbest move he made.
  18. Kind of like "Pinkie Pride", this is what an episode looks like with some real effort. A lot of the stuff I really liked about this episode have already been mentioned: Tirek, Discord, Twilight Sparkle... but I will say that it made me smile to see that the animators put Lyra and Bon-Bon together in the end,
  19. This is really interesting. Any updates for the newest characters and their tritypes?
  20. "My Little Dashie", that story actually made me cry... I also get a laugh out of "Spiderses" and some of argembarger's other stories including "Pepsi® Twist" and "Scootaloo's Big Meal". "Our True Colors" was also a really good story.. it's a story about Scootaloo (best pony of CMC) and Pinkie (best pony of Mane Six) with a lot of feels.
  21. Even if this movie is fantastic, I can't give it a perfect ten out of ten unless they show human forms of Lyra and Bon-Bon.. preferably together.
  22. 1 - The Season 4 finale may change things regarding this but it really seems like the writers have had some trouble integrating the whole Princess Twilight Sparkle thing into the show as a whole. We'll have to see how they go about the finale tomorrow. They either ignore the princess thing entirely or make Twilight's character Mary Sue-ish with not enough adorkableness... an exception was "Twilight Time" but that was one in twenty-four,but like I said, let's see how the finale goes. 2 - Fluttershy is adorable, but she's so boring..... e.g., the breezie episode. Her character is only interesting when interacting with more interesting characters (e.g., Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie). She's worst pony of the Mane Six for me. 3 - I wouldn't mind seeing a more assertive Fluttershy for Season 5.. something that shows that the lessons she's been learning in the first four seasons have stuck. It could actually put her in interesting scenarios.. showing that one can be assertive yet kind... and by assertive Fluttershy, I don't mean aggressive Fluttershy.. there's a difference as was learned in "Putting Your Hoof Down". They changed Rainbow Dash's character in a positive way, why not do the same for Fluttershy? 4 -" The Show Stoppers" is an underrated episode. It was one of those "the premise is so bad that it's good" episodes for me. 5 - While Twilight is the most book-smart of the Mane Six, Pinkie Pie could actually be the one with the highest IQ of the Mane Six.
