My idea is similar to shefira, but clearly not the same: The Elements of harmony is probably incapable of killing, because that would break the harmony itself (ok, it would perhaps be able to kill in the few cases where killing really would be the best ... ) However, as distorted and tyrrannical as Discord may had been, the most harmonical judgement would be to imprison him, not to kill him. In the case of Nightmare Moon, the most harmonical judgement would be to temporarily remove the powers, and thereby also fully remove whatever it was that caused luna to become nightmare moon in the first place. I think ... that the changelings would be turned into ponies, in a way, perhaps even removing their "love vampirism", but giving them cutiemarks, individual, and so on .... This is just a guess, though.

Oh, my, that is even less probable than an FiM/Transformer crossover .... Nah, it is far more probable that he's (seemingly?) unaffected by the Hamony beam, but says something like: "Ok, ok, I know when i'm not welcome, no need to exaggerate ... i'll just leave now ... but i promise to check in from time to time, after all, me and dear Celestia goes wayy back ...." And then he poofs.

I question that those patterns on the side must be wings at all ....

Sorry if this thread is wrongly placed or even seem totally unneccesary .... but i feel i need to get this off my chest. I mean, of all PMV's i've seen, i seem to prefer the more gruesome ones, for some wierd reason ... even musically. There are only a very few exceptions ... I mean, here is the current list of gruesomes i like to listen to (no links): * Aperture Pony (Still Alive, ending theme from Portal, Glados as pony) * Aperture Pony 2.0 (Want you gone, ending theme from Portal 2, Glados' ponyform upgraded) * Discord "radio edit" (Live acting non-pony video, i find the other versions ... to "disco" in the wrong way) * Beyond her Tomb (Animated story, Mic the mike, wooden toaster, living Tombstone .... i sadly find the original "Beyond her Garden" to be .... wussy, if you excuse my poor choise of words .... ; ) Of the non-gruesome, i have thus far only fancied "Elements of Harmonics" by Chained Algorithm ... And i also of course like the shows own Smile, smile, smile, and a few others, but ... why do i find so many of the fanmade PMV's to be ... not very good if they are'nt gruesome as well? Have i just not looked well enough? Again, sorry if this thread/topic looks ... spammy ...

Hmm.... i can think of a few things ... * Derpy gets an episode .... with here original roundup voice. * Derpy,, Vinyl Scratch, Octavia, Lyra and Zecora gets an episode together. * The real Doctor Whooves shows up (and he is not the one every fan thought he was). * All Mane 6 go nuts. * Twilight invents a robot-pony. * Big Mac gets his own episode. * Cadence and Shining Armor goes on Honeymoon ...

The thing is, the identification often settles on the most common one, turning it into a potential "genderneutral" impression. I mean, for other shows, the "typical" is often male, but in MLP, the typical is instead femme. Look at Transformers, they are all assumed male, to the extent of Arcee being noted as a distinct femme, but really, the transformers are robots, and could easily be genderless the lot of them. In the case of MLP, the male fans tend to more or less "forget" that the most frequent is the earth mares. To me, it's basic group psychology.

If FiM were a little more mature? I'd prefer not. Like most others here, i think the current mix works well. If they'd like to make something more directly for Bronies, they'd be far better off keeping FiM as is (more or less, it can't remain static), and do something quite different, with other mane (!) characters and supporting cast, like Ponies in space or steampunk, or even a pony/transformer - mix.

As for Centaurs, i mean that the ponies already is enough human-equines, so centaurs offers nothing, not even if humans would be introduced. I think, instead of human versions, it would of course be hoofed versions, like Skeleton ponies, treequines(dryads/treefolk), and so on. Dogs could easily have goblinoid and ogrish versions, and so on ...

As for some suggestions .... I do not think Centaurs exist. Why? They probably entered earth myth from people seeing humans riding horses for the first time .... also think of the name "Centaur". Minotaur comes from Mino's Taur, meaning Mino's Bull. So what would that make a Centaur? Cen's Bull? There is no "horse" part anywhere near there! Centaur rather implies that it is a bull, and not a horse-being. So, no centaurs.

Cadence was made to be beautiful and gorgeous, while Luna is gorgeous and regal, and Celestia is Regal Beauty. Cadence is not that regal in appearence, so there is more ... place for beauty and gorgeous. Don't worry, Celestia doesn't need that title.

As for any new opposition and villains ... Let's see what we already have: Friend turned Foe, Divine scale. Fun chaos with outright disturbance. The Impostor - succubus/energy absorber. So, what is left? Crreping chaos and disturbance. Friends turned foes, low scale. The Mob (may or may not be mindcontrolled). Mutant Parasprites. Beings of Equestrian myth.

How could she?She is too fast, even though she's loyal doesn't mean she knows how to lead. Ok, she does well in Hurricane Fluttershy, but that is because the recordbreaking requires her to be in one place, otherwise she'd just fly away from all the others, to show her own proficiency. Twilight Sparkle seem more like a likely leader, but that may not be entirely true either, since she is more of a strategist and organizer ... but, she is also the harder nut to crack for Discord, and do keep leader-like qualities even when the rest has succumbed to discord. Also, the Elements of Harmony, when not worn, has only ever been in 3 places: The Ruins, Canterlot Castle, and in Twilight's library. ... I could think of this option: Twilight doesn't know what to do, and enters her mental "off" as a mix between the between the AJ/Rarity sleepover, and "it's about time". RD manages to knock some sense into Twilight, though, and together, they rally the rest(if need be). How do that sound?

Yes, but where do you think that colourcoding comes from?The Yin/Yang? Not hardly, Yin/Yang is based on equality between good and bad, not that one will conquer the other. So, from darkness? Not neccesarily, humans were once hunters themselves, and to most hunters, the dark is an advantage, and not a drawback .... To me, it is obvious that that colourcoding is both more "modern" and "western" than that .... And if you want to be purified from sin and protected from evil intentions, then why not simply say so? Why go the way with adding a colourcoding that may really be racist at heart? ... Probably because one doesn't know that it is racist at heart, but think it is "as it always has been" ..... ... No, please, do not go there .... Even though i have the One God Faith in the bottom of my theistic views, i prefer to not let it impact my life too much ... Scientology is made up through and through, with a fake core, but a truer facade (some things do work, from what i've heard), flying spa ... FSM is a joke, and to bring Celestia into that mess .... Nope. "Trot on" could too easily be taken as "just walk on", or "just walk by, nothing to see here ... " For "Rock on" it is far better with "Buck On"

I noticed. I got an "aha", but as i see it, Twilight is more powerful(potentially - the extra backstar and surrounding stars), while Shining is a born Knight. The main star is a family trait, or possibly a recognition of great magic.

I want to point out something important ... but i'll start by explaining my background: I have had a major depression .... however, i was always certain that it was because of social reasons, rather than medical mental reasons. Now you may wonder if non-clinical depression can even get near the clinical in severity? I have been there, i'm certain the results are the same ... With true care, and some people that know ME, and not what i'm "supposed to be" (ok, they fail at some points, but still ... ), i have gotten better, and this has preven me right, that my depression was ... and the remaining parts still is, due to social problems, and not on mental. However, now my point: Are you aware how many with severe depression there is, that simply get meds, and that's it? No true attempt at researching what the real reason is, just the thinking (yes, even among too many doctors) of "ok, depression - prescripe "happy pills" ... ", and they leave it at that! I agree on some things, though, the show is no replacement for true help, whether medicals are needed or not. However, the show has given a great base for the community, it is like the show is a bit of a "quick (sometimes more lasting) fix", whole the community do add some unexpected care to the mix, and that is more long-term, so non-clinical may sometimes only need the community to get better. Sometimes. And yes, the apathy, again, the show might work as a "pick me upp"er, while the abundance of fan-material is ... cleary an inspiration in itself. And anything that goes like "here, have this, but i leave now, bye" can easily fail, be they meds or the Cranky Doodle Donkey episode. Now you ask, how can meds fail? Especially meds against mental ailments fail ... more than occasionally. Especially, if they are anti-depressants given to someone without clinical depression. ... or similar. Hm, i think i really agree on most your points ... except that clinical depression and non-clinical depression looks very much more alike in how they effects someone socially, as well as in how they feel.

Best thing ever? I think i'll avoid the hype, lest i get tainted. I'm looking forward to another MLP:FiM episode ... or two, and that's it. Then, if it do exceed my expectations, it is a clear bonus
