None. Fandom conversion is super annoying. It's one thing to offer up a chance to try out someone else's fandom and back off when they say they don't want to or didn't like it, it's another to cram it down someone's throat when they clearly don't want anything to do with your fandom. That kind of behavior is what drive me miles away from the Homestuck people. It's a cartoon, not a religion.

Okay, Duo Cartoonist's work is absolutely beautiful considering there's only two animators behind it. That said, you gotta be joking. Just because 50 Shades of Grey became the world's most successful fanfiction doesn't mean this will too. And quite honestly even with the beautifully animated trailer I have no idea what this story is about. (And didn't the creator of Midnight Mares say it wasn't based in the MLP universe despite sharing the exact same style and world type or something?) Wait, what was that about the Snowdrop creators C&Ding a plushie maker? That's hilarious.

Just one rule: No bashing other gens/bronies/collectors. If you're only here to go "ew old gens" or "darn bronies ruined old gens" don't. That being said; where are all my G1, 2, 3, and yes, even 3.5 collectors at? Who's in your collection? Do you have an army or just a favorite? I collect ponies with bug symbols and my favorite G1s are Firefly (classic,) Sundance, and Dancing Butterflies. I think I have three of the latter in my collection, one rehaired by me. I kinda wish I had the funds for more G1s, especially a G1 AJ and Honeycomb to go with my Baby AJ and Baby Honeycomb. Probably my rarest G1 is Cha Cha the Llama. How about you guys? Anyone else collect or just generally into older gens?

Full-grown (25,) artistic, and not afraid. More like "doesn't hide and doesn't announce either." That sweet middle ground of fandom.

In order from least terrible to most terrible. Snowdrop: It's cute, I'll give it that. It's not the omgsosadtearjerker bronies make it out to be but I recognize the heart and effort put into the story and the characters. It's probably the best out of the three because they managed to actually make a cohesive story with a reasonably sympathetic character in half the time the other two did. I understand where the criticism for Snowdrop comes from. And to some extent I agree. Some aspects of Snowdrop's character were a little too sympathy-grabbing or overreaching. For example the class was something out of a LIfetime movie. And even Lifetime movie victims have at least one friend. There are things that definitely could've been improved or expanded upon. But Silly Filly Studios has shown a good amount of promise and dedication with their creations (I'll admit, I actually liked Fall of the Crystal Empire) so I'm not gonna ding them too much. Double Rainboom: Neither Double Rainboom not Dusk's Dawn are the first fanmade episodes. Why? Because neither of them have anything to do with Friendship is Magic at all. The only reason Double Rainboom is above Dusk's Dawn is because they use actual FiM character no matter how poorly written and voiced they are. The animation is nice but that's about it. The story was poor and fanservicey, constant references and creepy Faust-worship, and the crossover bait-and-switch did Double Rainboom in. It was pretty lame to bill Double Rainboom as a fanmade episode but make 70% of the actual story a crossover with another cartoon. Dusk's Dawn: There's only one redeeming quality; the fact you can laugh at how terrible it is. Otherwise I already wrote a long review of why it's bad so eh. Apparently they're trying to make it again and make it not bad? idk.

Rainbow was my first and still is my favorite. I stuck with her through the Rainbow Jerk phase. Though Applejack has really grown on me so I just make her tied with Rainbow as number one.

Viva la Cadance Monarchy. Nah, I'm just neutral. I think the people who are super dead serious about the Solar Empire versus New Lunar Republic thing are silly.

Prepare for a bit of a long list. My OCs are varied in talents. The ability to speak to, understand, and manipulate insects and arachnids. ** The ability to memorize text or speech word-for-word and repeat it exactly as it was written or spoken. She uses this to deliver messages.

As far as I know the My Little Pony Fair this year is in Chicago. But it's not a brony convention, it's geared more towards collectors of the older gens. I've always wanted to go because I love the old gens but yeah. If you're looking for a brony con MLP Fair is not it.
