    The worst thing about Trump - as repellent as I genuinely find the guy to be - isn't Trump; it's the little shitheads out there who have been inspired by the guy to behave as hideously as they possibly can - particularly in the wake of the election. A false, confused freedom cry communicated in the form of spray painted swastikas and deliberate, sincere hate speech made by individuals who were never really oppressed in the first place. Trump's America is already here; though I guess it really was here all along. No, you aren't automatically a racist, sexist, or homophobe if you supported Trump, but that is most certainly the company you keep. And said company is getting louder and louder and harder to ignore.

    I wear articles of clothing intended for the opposite gender on a semi-regular basis. I have several pairs of very colorful socks that were intended for ladies. People seldom seem to notice, but perhaps the complete outfit of flower-print baby blue sunglasses, the occasional MLP shirt, blue-and-yellow man-purse, and knee-highs has a self-camouflaging effect? xD

    Of course it is. Some of the closest friends I've ever had, I met online. You won't always connect the most with the people who live down the block or even in your own household; the internet allows you to reach out and potentially find people with whom you can connect on important levels.

    I've been wearing pony shirts in public since I got my The Legend of Zelda / MLP crossover tee a couple years back (Epona in the style of MLP:FIM - I still have the shirt). I also have a few Rainbow Dash shirts and a necklace I've worn a good number of times, and - while not technically pony-clothing - I try to choose light blue and rainbow-colored clothing (such as colorful usually-not-men's socks). I have a little - let's be honest - man-purse that I'd really like to get a Rainbow Dash key chain for.

    I was walking home a couple weeks back and spotted a beetle crossing the road. I also spotted oncoming traffic. So I tried, mostly in vain and at some minimal risk of being hit by a car, to grab and relocate said beetle to the side of the road, knowing full well it was just going to scuttle back into harm's way anyhow. And whenever a spider or insect wears out their welcome in our home, I'll go to some trouble to safely extract them and place them outside. A lethargic bee was sleepily gripping a roll of toilet paper in our bathroom once, and I just set the entire roll outside in hopes that it'd wake up and go about its business.
