  1. My one regret is that I didn't notice my bottle of Vanilla Extract expired 4 years ago.
  2. Lava Chicken. Which Star Wars series features actor Jack Black?
  3. I was beginning to wonder, outside of females, if ANYONE would say they are not. This is a forum for pony fans and like-minded users, so it would be strange to find someone who claims to not be tender-hearted here. Likewise, I believe I am tender-hearted as well. It doesn't stop me from being a strong, dependable, authority figure when I need to be. I am always willing to do what I feel is right and stand on my principles. However, tender-hearted does not necessarily mean weak nor unreliable. Lots of people can be strong on the outside, soft on the inside. Or as the old saying goes, "Don't mistake my kindness for weakness."
  4. Well, there goes a perfectly good soup, down the drain. ...Is that a promise?!
  5. Yes, and I am not good at it. Have you ever tried to inflate a tire or a sports ball?
  6. ...Why is Derp not an option? I understand and respect your reasoning for not wanting to be seen as Good. However, I hope you can acknowledge that most other people have a different definition of what it means to be a good person. And to me, doing things like banning toxic and dangerous people to protect the good ones worth protecting... That does not make you evil or neutral. It makes you wise, kind, and consistent. You don't revel in laying down the law, and you don't go looking for people to ban; but like a wise ruler, you do what must be done for the greater cause. Strength and Kindness must go hand in hand; always. Without kindness, strength just becomes merciless tyranny and aggression. Without strength, kindness becomes an easily exploited naivety. Of course, Knowledge needs to be in there too. Knowledge helps to make fair judgements, leads to better understanding, to give second chances to those who deserve it while spotting those who don't, and guides us to be consistent. Disobey the laws and harm others? Get punished. Learn from and obey the laws? You will get rewarded. A pattern of behavior people can expect consistently, with any exceptions easily explained or made understandable, yet hardly ever exploited. Silky, never feel bad that you have to do your duty as Admin. Only feel bad that others don't appreciate the gift of kindness. And know, you'll always be someone I look up to.
  7. Not true~! I like all those things. ...Wait, am I the weirdo?
  8. There. I didn't have to go that far, but now the timing is immaculate.
  9. Hmm... Is the crown made of ice? As a fire pony, I fear it would melt in my hooves. Can potion magic make my samurai armor more regal?
  10. World peace. Is there a game (not a sport) that you are bad at?
  11. Happy Birthday! :pinkiehappy::balloon::blue_baloon:

    1. Snow

      Snow

      Oh Samurai, Thankyouuuuuuuu!!!!!!!! :party-pinkie:

  12. Sports is a tough subject for me... In school, I was not good at sports and never chosen for teams. Which is kind of ironic, really. There were moments where I actually had potential in either Basketball or Baseball. There was even a moment where I could have been a track runner. Even tennis or volleyball could have been an option. I could have been really good. However, no one really took the time to help me improve my skills, to motivate me to improve, to really see the potential I had. Not that it's all their fault. I was a nerdy kid, and sports just didn't excite me. I had no fun associations with sports. As soon the couch said we were dismissed, I was out the door in record time. Still, there are moments where I wonder what could have been. To this day, sports remains a mystery to me. I have no idea why people get excited about sports. I have no idea why they tune in to watch or go to sporting events. I can't explain why they get invested in teams, coaches, historic plays, and other such things. I can't explain why some people might get so excited that they riot and loot the streets, regardless of whether their team wins or not. I can't say I enjoy how schools and other parts of society put more importance on sports than education, art, culture, invention, and other things that deserve more attention. And why would anyone want to get action figures of athletes and wrestlers, when they could have greater adventures with fantasy, scifi, video game, or superhero characters? I just genuinely didn't get it. The closest I got to understanding was the original Space Jam movie, but that felt more like a fictional spectacle than something just for sports fans. But over the years, my stance began to change a little. Sports is still not quite for me, but I can at least acknowledge and respect the genuine passion other people have. Those feelings are real. Genuine passion for anything should never be denied. I might not watch sports for myself; but if a friend genuinely loves sports, I might watch it with them. I'd love to hear about their passion; how they got into sports and why they love it. The only condition I have is Good Sportsmanship and A Friendly Atmosphere. You don't have to like the other teams, you can have a favorite, but I don't want to hang out with anyone who has extreme hatred or intolerance for other teams and their fans. Likewise, the ones I hang with need to be welcoming and inviting. Instead of hating you for liking another team, they need to acknowledge that all sports fans are equally valid. Instead of treating you like a loser for not being good at sports, they might invite you to a friendly game where they teach you how to play and always applaud your honest efforts. Sports can be a good thing that should unite us. And any rivalry we have should be a respectful, friendly rivalry instead of toxic, destructive behavior. I am not sure if I agree with this comparison, but some have said sports is like a more civilized version of gladiator fights. If that is true, what is the point of making it civilized if we cannot act civilized as well? Maybe I over generalizing. I hope that I am not offending anyone by posting my thoughts and experiences. You are free to disagree with me as hard as you want. I'd love to hear more about your personal experience as well! Just know that I don't hate sports. It's not for me, but if you love it, more power to you. We all have a passion for something in this life, and even if it's for different things, those passions are equally valid.
  13. Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Red Edition.

    [I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]

Police STOP - Emoticon Point Right Feel free to leave a song request. Your song will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry! Point Left STOP - Emoticon Police

Hello, my crowd! 204065.gif Once again, I have a reason for the delay behind this post.

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png The biggest thing that happened this past week was my mother's operation. She had a follow-up. She got an operation for one side of her hips, but needed another for the opposite side. She is much better by comparison. Not perfect. It looks like she will have to go in every 3 weeks for a follow up; because the stuff they inject her with can wear off over time. She is looking into the possibility of getting these injections at the same time so that they'll wear off at the same time, instead of unevenly. But there is always the possibility that over time, she'll need less and less follow ups in the future. :pinkiesad2: At least, we all hope so. Seems she has picked up some new limits that are here to stay. She cannot walk around for very long; wears her out and makes her sweaty. It's possible she won't be able to work out in any realistic way. But the way I see it, some progress is better than no progress.

cel.png.932df6a068796c2120797b896cfae033.png Oh, and also... Father's Day! :pinkiehappy: We celebrated it with my uncle. I made my signature Chicken Cordon Bleu; a dish I make rarely. This one was good. Not as good as I've made it before. I got in a rush, but I know I can make it better if I really want to. A true live and learn experience.

bmc.png.dead4df5641294b1d1c51b1da6cdaeeb.png Not sure how, but I forgot to mention last time... @Luna the Great of all the Russias made an awesome picture of my OC, as well as other staffers you might recognize. There are not enough Thank-You's. Go check out the awesomeness Here. (Samurai's promotion to Shogun is when?)

cel.png.932df6a068796c2120797b896cfae033.png We truly are deep into trailer season, aren't we? :rddetermined: The newest Superman trailer is the best so far. From punching someone in (I assume) one of Lex's power suits, to the funny and unexpected quip. Feels like James Gunn was taking jabs at anyone doubting him for all the trailers where Superman laid broken and bloody in the snow. Doubters, every one of you! We got our first clip of the new King of the Hill season. The animation is so smooth, it's a bit too uncanny for me. And I kind of wish they recast Bobby's voice actor to reflect his older age. (They did it for Joseph, why not Bobby?) I am casually interested in the series Alien: Earth; a TV show may be better for the franchise than a few occasional movies. Sonic Racing Crossworlds is giving us SO many unexpected crossovers. And coming completely out of nowhere, Spaceballs 2! Well I guess if you've still got it, go for it!

That's it for now, my crowd. :coolphoto: Take care, and eat something tasty.

From the same vocalist at Studio Yuraki, here's an English cover of the song "Mixed Nuts" from Spy X Family, by SamIsNotDead. I trust his quality level of translation, and once again, he nails it.

  14. Sorry, I was just suddenly reminded of that song. I trust you too, Silky. Friends five-ever.
  15. Eagle! Hawk! Peafowl! Condor! And sometimes owl. And definitely the Japanese finch~! Same question.
  16. Apparently, A Maretime Bay Adventure doesn't have a game over screen.
  17. Britain. Which state is known as the Lone Star State?
