    @GeneralDirection Gotaro looks up at him. "Hmm? Silver-san?" The moment had passed as quickly as it began, with the dinosaur going back to roaring and even swinging its tail in a vein attempt to break out. But somehow, through it all, Silver hears a voice. It's rough, cutting though the haze and the noise, but it reaches Silver telepathically. And it simply yet aggressively says "Release me! Release me!"

    @GeneralDirection Samurai chuckles a little. "It's true. I'm not good for anyone's digestion. Too spicy." Samurai says, momentarily making a flame appear on his horn. He has also removed his helmet, since it's not necessary right now. "This way, please." Gotaro leads the way. Moments later, they are not only in a different, much more isolated part of the institute, but they are walking on suspended scaffolding many stories up. Because down below, in a metal reinforced chamber complete with trees and other pieces of nature, is a very angry tyrannosaurus. It roars, it paces, it even tries to ram the walls keeping it caged. Nothing works. Eventually, he hears our heroes walking up above. He tires to jump towards the scaffolding and bite it, but it's no use. The tyrannosaurus cannot jump tall distances, and the scaffolding is just too high up. Gotaro stops midway across the scaffolding to look down at the beast. "I'm sorry, big guy. I'm trying to figure you out, but I just can't. Why won't you open up to me? Are you even capable of doing that?" Gotaro says to the tyrannosaurs, crossing his arms on the rails. Samurai gets a good look at the beast. It's not a prefect recreation of a tyrannosaurus, but it's so very close to identical. It's angry and out of control. The kind of creature that would prove to anyone just how frightening nature can be. "...Could it be that this is something science and magic should have never made? Are just not ready for this yet?" Samurai contemplates out loud. But when the dinosaur locks eyes with Silver, for a moment, it stops roaring. It's still huffing, still angry, and yet... There's something there. A connection of some kind? A spiritual connection?

    Okay, that's new. Anyone else seeing this Achievements bar at the top of their profile and status updates?

    Also, I just now learned I have no badges. ... What?!?! :BornAgainBrony: I use to have a lot of them! Were they retired? Were mine never reinstated after all the forum updates? Do they not count anymore? Is there a new badge system? @Rikifive, @Totally Lyra, @The Wife of Law, somebody, anybody, help?! I need answers please!

    [ I mean, ultimately I am fine without them. Just kind of curious what happened. ]

      Brohoofs are now rounded slightly upwards. Other than that, it is a new modern look and I am getting used to it myself. I think the problem lies in the old themes not working with new forum software upgrades, and we keep getting bugs that can't be fixed.

      The previous "award" system is a different thing than the current "achievements". Jeric mentioned wanting to migrate now-broken award badges into achievements, but I guess it turned out to be tricky.

      No idea on the details, so can't tell more than that I'm afraid.

    @GeneralDirection Gotaro nods. "We could, but there is nothing there right now. It's been cleared out in favor of this institute." Gotaro gets up from his chair. "However... Would you like to see the tyrannosaurus rex? He's probably secure in his new containment center. Something stronger than his last cage." Gotaro offers.

    @GeneralDirection Gotaro listens with his arms crossed, smiling at first. But as the description goes on, getting weirder and weirder, Gotaro nervously begins to sweat while listening. "I think I may be in over my head..." Gotaro gives a laugh as he pulls out a handkerchief and wipes his brow with it. "I cannot even begin to analyze a dream like that. ... Although, now that you mention it, a cave was pretty important for my team. We found the dinosaur fossils and its DNA in the cave of a nearby mountain. And even when this operation was young, we incubated and raised the dinosaur in the cave first. Before it became too big for it, of course." Gotaro explains.

    @GeneralDirection Silver's request catches Gotaro's attention, pulling him out of his own thoughts. "Hmm? Well, sure! I'm not a therapist, but if it involves animals, then color me interested!" Gotaro pulls up some chairs for them and begins listening; interested.

    @GeneralDirection Gotaro just seems lost in thought. However, Samurai remembers something and gives Silver a gentle nudge. "Go ahead. Tell him about your dream. We came all this way for that, remember?" Samurai says with a smile.

    sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png So, St. Paddy's Day, huh? :orly: I kind of forgot about it until it arrived. I normally celebrate by getting a mint chocolate milkshake. Missed my chance to do it, but a few days later, I wen to a restaurant that had mint chocolate chip ice cream. Topping it with chocolate sauce was the perfect combination.

I loved them both!! :ticking: The first one wasn't super big of flavor, but they had HUGE proportions for a good price. The next had super flavorful food; the kind of flavor I haven't seen in a long time. I can't wait to go back to either one.

That anime fans and tokusatsu fans should stand together, because there is things in tokusatsu that would easily appeal to anime fans. Well this show has it! I am getting the same visual aesthetic and a similar writing style to anime like Re:Zero and Attack on Titan, minus maybe some of the darker undertones? It's just one episode, so it's hard to tell, but I love the switcharoo they pulled with the Kuwagata Ohger. It's not so much a Prince & Pauper situation, more of a King-We-Got VS King-We-Deserve situation. I really like the red of this season, and I hope I will continue to like him. But he's all ready being sentenced to death? I might be able to forgive the green screen CGI fest if this ends up being a way more solid story. So far, I am loving this!

    twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png King-Oh 02: Red, Fight, & Blue? R9NrtBD.png So after a quick abduction, we get to see what Tonbo Ohger's kingdom is like. They call him President, which to me makes his very high-tech kingdom feel more like a nod to America or some first-world country. (Even though the president of the USA would rarely walk among the commoners as easily as this king does.) Our tyrant of a Red may have judged Blue too soon, but that quickly turned into admiration when he saw the truth. And it looks like we are getting to see more creative benefits by having a stronger use of CGI. Moreover, I am beginning to see how they'll use different filming locations to their advantage. However, before the dust can settle, the both Red & Blue have been captured by Yellow this time! Here we go again~

Ace has summoned the power of the Goddess, and it's making the people up top very upset. At least we got the answer to the last question; Buffa was just using the Jamato that looked like his friend. The act of friendship was completely fake. And I wonder why I didn't notice this before, but the monitors that the sponsors are using to watch the Grand Prix remind me a lot of Ichigo's Typhoon Belt. I wonder if that was intentional.

    @GeneralDirection Samurai nods. "Perhaps Silver-san is right. As strange as it is for me to say, maybe the dinosaur is just too wild to reach, even with your abilities." Samurai says. "I'm not so sure. It might be it's nature, or... It might be our fault." Gotaro explains before leading the way to yet another part of the tour. Once they get past the zoo, they find themselves in a place where dinosaur fossils and other such things are on display, much like a museum. Gotaro leads them to an education corner and points to a poster. "From what we understand, dinosaurs are suppose to look like this. They have feathers and maybe some fur. Some only have it in their young age before shedding them completely as adults. This tyrannosaur didn't have anything like that. The DNA we found was great, but incomplete. We used some animal DNA to help complete it, but who knows if that actually helped or made things worse." Gotaro says. "So you're saying there's a chance it's not a perfect recreation. That might explain it, but still, what you've made is amazing."

    @GeneralDirection "The answer should be obvious right? Because of that Tyrannosaurus." Gotaro begins. By now, the tour has moved to a new section of the building. It looks like a zoo, with different animals behind cages with glass walls. They are being properly fed and taken care of. "Unlike any other animal I've ever met, that dinosaur is dangerous and out of control. There hasn't been a single animal in this world that I can't communicate with. But that dinosaur, it's different. It's thoughts are scattered. It's ki is wild and unfocused, like a swirling vortex of randomness. No matter what I do, I can't communicate with it. I can't figure out what it wants or needs. I can't calm him down, tame him, or anything that would help him peacefully integrate into the wild with other animals." Gotaro explains. "So how did you even get one? They're extinct." Samurai says. "They are. However, a small team of scientists managed to find some fossils out here that still had some perfectly preserved DNA. They came up with a way to possibly make a living dinosaur, but they needed more scientists, money, and resourced than even I could afford. Thankfully, I know a wealthy aristocrat that loves scientific advancements and was willing to fund all this. And so, using all the scientific resources we could afford, the remains of the dinosaur DNA, some spare DNA we've collected from the animal kingdom, and some helpful magic spells..." Gotaro begins. "You revived your first dinosaur." Samurai concludes. "Correct!"

    Any dessert would be good. However, I missed my chance to have a mint chocolate milkshake for St. Paddy's Day. Would be nice to have one of those. Car or motorcycle?

    @GeneralDirection "Heh. These scientist types never seem to have time for formal introductions." Samurai shakes his head but joins them on the transport. There are enough seats from him and Silver. Gotaro mounts his sheep and faces the science team. "I'll go on ahead." Gotaro says before riding off ahead of the science team. Soon, the transport begins to move. Moments later, Samurai and Silver arrive at the laboratory in the middle of the desert. "Welcome to the Bio Research Station of Chubu. Follow me, please. We don't want to interrupt the important work here." Gotaro says, greeting them at the front door while the scientists from earlier magically take the tyrannosaurus around to a different entrance. The building is large and white, located next to a mountain with a cave. When they go inside, Gotaro takes them down a path that is safe for visitors. They can watch everything from a safe distance. Behind safety glass, they can see scientists working on chemicals, machines, and various other things related to their profession. Everything here looks so clean, sterile, and a little high tech. "It was a bit of work relocating everything here, but it was very much necessary!" Gotaro exclaims.
