    Arch, Arch, Arch, and Arch. Arch all the way. Its package manager is absolutely amazing. I haven't came across any other quite as powerful as it. Of course, I love seeing what other distros have to offer. I used to be a big fan of Crunchbang, but, of course, that died. openSUSE is what I'd recommend to anyone not willing to run 'pacman -Syu' biweekly.

    The only one I can think of off the top of my head is PyGame, which is a set of python modules made to help 2D game development. Sounds just like what you are looking for, with the 'coding it yourself' thing you want.

    Firefox Developer Edition. I used to use Chromium, however. I also use elinks if I'm feeling up to it. (Obviously I don't use it for regular browsing)

    I tried drawing again. I've been drawing a lot between the last post of me drawing and this. I feel I did much better this time around.
