Nothin' wrong with the m8n35tr34m. I spend so much time in the underground that it's nice to take a breath of fresh air now and again. Although, I'd have to say my favorite thrash band as of late is Black Fast. I'd say their sound is a fusion of Immortal/Death/Usurper

Could you really blend into pony society?
Drunk Cheerilee replied to Silverhoof's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I suppose the shift would be similar to Twilight's in EqG. She is much smarter than me, but unlike her, I would have requisite understanding of the creature into which I'm morphing (Pegasus). Of course I'd probably make a goof of myself quite often at first. I don't foresee having a problem with no TV or internet, since having the ability of flight is sort of more fun than watching According To Jim. If I were to survive the transition - i.e. my heart doesn't explode from the ecstasy of arriving in my dream world - item one on the agenda would be hitting up Rainbow Dash for tips and tricks on being cool, if she has room in her schedule for yet another die hard admirer. I would not have a problem surrendering my lifeblood to the Princesses. I would live and fight and die for them. -
What's the funniest MLP episode?
Drunk Cheerilee replied to Passion Page's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Goody! A recently bumped topic, and one for which I have a keen fondness! Simple Ways is pretty darn FUNNEIGH. Rarity has to be my favorite pony for sporadic gut wrenching lulz (as opposed to the near constant giggles induced by Pinkie Pie). Of course, pretty much every episode (minus the ones that are purely for the feels, just the feels, and nothing but the feels - e.g. Magical Mystery Cure) has it's profoundly humorous moments. However, I would have to maintain that the funniest episode is Applebuck Season. "I'm High. Lets make muffins!" -said absolutely nopony ever -

Best episode to introduce to non-fan
Drunk Cheerilee replied to Varian Dusk's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Well, I'd personally start at the beginning: Friendship Is Magic Part 1 (pausing around 17:20 to see Derpy's Face), then Friendship Is Magic Part 2. After she has been brought to tears (or not), go ahead and give her the gift of lulz, courtesy of The Ticket Master and Applebuck Season. If she isn't convinced at that point, I'd show her one of the more hilarious ones like Too Many Pinkie Pies, Party Of One, or Simple Ways, or one of the more spectacular ones like The Best Night Ever (also quite hilarious). In the end, she will either accept it or dismiss it, but know that you have done your job as a soldier of the herd! -

Did the shows target audience change?
Drunk Cheerilee replied to Zoraxe's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Every time i see the term 'target audience' it makes me think Hasbro has a giant cannon that they are aiming at poor little girls who think that ponies are cool. I believe the target audience has always been anypony who wishes to view the show, and recognize that it is absolute awesomeness in its purest form. -
For posts like this one, it really makes wish that there was a button for... On the other hand, too many of these might cause the site to self-destruct. Returning to the topic's namesake; today, while watching Discovery Family, I noticed in "Secret Of My Excess" that when Fluttershy and Pinkie let out cries of mortal terror, it is Rainbow Dash, rather than Twilight or Applejack, who instantly recognizes them, and bolts into rescue mode. She later proceeds to save Rarity and Spike with Fluttershy's assistance. Not even an RD episode, yet her presence was key to the apotheosis. Observation, swift motion, and passionate resolve: the ingredients of a true heroine.

I would think the main reason for people hating bronies would be that they (the haters) are in fact bronies, but get teased and hated on by other haters (who are in fact bronies), in what is referred to as The Babs Seed feedback loop. We just have to be the Cutie Mark Crusaders and let them know it's all good, and spam their favorite internet hangouts with as much pony pics as possible. Eventually, the power of the mighty pone will overwhelm all cynicism and knock down the 'fake hate' in one fell swoop. If only that were true... But bronies have been subjugating haters for years. I guess in the end, Griffons Gonna Griff.

Silly Cheerilee misunderstood the topic . So, without further ado, the Element that I struggle the most with is.. Honesty. I always find it difficult to tell the whole truth. Whether it be to family, friends, or co-workers, I can sometimes bend the truth in order to make me look cool. Also, I find that when honesty and kindness intersect, I always prefer to be kind, even if that means telling white lies, and sometimes, it comes back to bite me in the posterior because it's possible for people to deduce that I am full o' bull.
