  1. Random music downloaded through the Internet, Winamp on my desktop, Rocket Player on my tablet.
  2. Honestly, between the seasons, I was kinda hoping it would be Starlight Glimmer, mainly because of the name.
  3. @@Seamore Sandwich, ah, I did. I have my next move planned out, so it shouldn't take me long to post.
  4. I'd have to rewatch some episodes, I don't remember anything in particular.
  5. I have him on my subscription list. While I don't always agree with his opinion, he is always entertaining.
  6. Scariest, I'd have to say the early parts of Undying - the game kinda takes a slow, steady decline after a certain point, but early on, I kept jumping at shadows. For persistent creep factor, I'd have to say STALKER - when you first play it, it's really hard to distinguish from creepy things that want to kill you {and that's almost all of them} from things that are merely creepy. As for FEAR.... ehh. I played through it, but it lost its edge when I realized it mainly depended on jump scares, which were rarely actually threatening.
  7. If memory serves, teleportation is a spell only a few are capable of. She's a unicorn, but she's not a powerful magician.
  8. Looking back to the fandom back in season one, I think a lot of the polarization regarding Lauren stems from a fairly classic case of creator worship on one side, and backlash to that worship on the other. Personally? I both agree that it's egregiously unfair to Lauren Faust to dismiss the fact that, while she by no means created MLP:FIM all by her own, she was the brains behind the entire operation, and without her direction, My Little Pony would have remained just another girly show, but. It also bears remembering that Friendship Is Magic, as she conceived and directed it, was also not the show she would have made had she had the chance. Her original pitch to Hasbro was Galaxy Girls. Her original take on My Little Pony was a magical girl show with recurring antagonists. A slice-of-life show with a moral at the end of each episode was, frankly, an absolutely magnificent display of making do, but it doesn't change the fact that Faust's vision was not, in fact, FIM as we know it in the first place. Hell, given the few of her comments on social media I've read, I've sensed a bit of envy that what she created outlasted her stay. So, to summarize - Lauren Faust accomplished an incredible and staggeringly impactful work of craft, but I am convinced that, had she kept the helm, it would have quickly stagnated and declined. Regardless, the fact that her work was surpassed does not, in any way, shape or form diminish her accomplishment. Just don't take what she says as canon.
  9. Mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I agree that willful cheaters deserve to be punished, and monetary penalties work as well as any. On the other hand, how do you deal with the inevitable false positives?
  10. @Seamore Sandwich, @Quinch, @SugarfootWillie, @Blitz Boom [Ponyville] Quinch saw the massive arm swinging down at him just in time for it to hit him like a freight train. He heard the crumplesuit crunch and give way to the alpha strike, even as the force of being swatted out of the sky like an errant bumblebee made him black out. He wasn't so lucky that it would be much of a respite - the in-suit systems started screaming at him the moment they realized he was unconscious, just in time, again, for him to hit the ground, this time that much harder for the second time in as many hours. He tumbled across the ground, arms flailing as he tried to stop himself, digging his fingers deep into Ponyville dirt. Clenching his fist, ears ringing and head spinning, he struggled back to his feet, a gigantic, almost comical dent across his chest.
  11. I'd go with mosquitoes. While I'm aware they have their ecological niche, they annoy the living daylights out of me. Not to mention being a terrible disease vector.

    Hi

Hi, and welcome to the forums! Hmm. How many lights are there in your room right now? Are any of them blinking?
  13. Can I request a chibi version of Drakontipa here? I'll understand if it's too much trouble.
  14. My headcanon is that bubbles represent her irrepresible levity. While she is obviously an incorrigible klutz, in nearly every scene we see her in, she remains cheerful despite being a miniature cloud of miniature disasters. While obviously aware of the material damage she causes, she still reacts with apparent optimism and an attempt to fix it.
  15. I don't think he's actually selling them, more along the lines of free to a good home sort of dealio.
  16. I stabbed myself. With a pen. In my index finger. By accident. By this point, I'm essentially tatooing myself with a needlepoint sharpie.
  17. I'm still getting into the swing of things, RP-wise, but concept-wise, these are pretty cool!
  18. I need to make a will save anytime I see candy out in the open. There's a penalty if chocolate is involved.
  19. I will travel.... Into the future! One day at a time. But other than that.... I don't really know.
  20. Samurai Jack, easy. For the current ones.... I'd say Adventure Time. Steven Universe would be there, but the constant hiatii ruin it for me.
  21. @Seamore Sandwich, @Quinch, @SugarfootWillie, @Blitz Boom [Ponyville] Finally. As the beast turned to him - and the other pony joined the fray - he was starting to wonder if he'd be able to get its attention at all. This would be so much simpler, he thought, if I could just talk to it. Things are so much easier to tick off if you know what to insult. He made sure to zigging and zagging as he circled around the thing, still blaring noise, on occasion scraping past it with electrical fingers. He still had no idea what it was, or what it wanted, but the others seemed to be doing their job, chipping away at it piece by piece. He hoped that at least the entire incident wouldn't end up biting him in the ass.
  22. @Seamore Sandwich, @Quinch, @SugarfootWillie, @Blitz Boom [Ponyville] That was.... encouraging. The fact that he managed to connect with the ephemeral giant helped level the playing field a little. But he got its attention, which was, after all, what he was aiming for. He was no brute, not in this thing, his tools were resilience and taunting, in some way or another, as he cut the rockets and dropped like a rock as the now-severed arm flew at where he was. But, he noticed with annoyance as he saw another pony get slammed by a flailing arm, not enough. He flew to the side, a fat mosquito, and dove at it again, crackling electricity, trying to make himself as annoying as he could, as the directed a blast of noise - a cacophonic mix of child screaming, broken drill and nails-on-chalkboard at what what he assumed its head was.
  23. I'm kinda hyped out. I saw the title and my first thought was "oh, another one?"
  24. If nobody minds, I'll just quietly retire Quinch from the scene and see if I can retcon him into not having been present for the whole Forgotten One situation.
