  1. Really liked this one! The song was one of my favorites of the season so far, but some of the lyrics were a touch forced. Example being rarity saying "just be the same" in contrast to pinkie's "be unique", which is kind of an awkward lyric.
  2. Replaying Super Mario Galaxy. Again.
  3. Friendship being magic takes a literal meaning in the show, but not so much in the real world. I usually don't shoot rainbow lasers from a necklace to defeat villains with my irl friends
  4. drew this human rarity today :0
  5. hahaha gross but oh well
  6. Chrysalis is certainly my favorite. Her design is freaky and makes her the most sinister, to me. Those holes in her hooves
  7. Exactly! She has boring episodes too- the result is always predicable and never helps her character grow.
  8. In terms of the mane six, i say Applejack just because i find her the least compelling.
  9. Rarishy, Green Isn't Your Color makes a great case for how adorable they are together. I love it^^
  10. The Best Night Ever holds up really well. The Show Stoppers does not.
  11. I totally forgot about that one!! That's one of my favorites too ahaha smh
  12. Certainly. The whole Disney Renaissance was kind of overrated. Sure, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, The Lion King... these were all great movies! But then, there was also stuff like Pocahontas, Hercules, Tarazan... However, the '37-'67 era for Disney movies didn't have as many duds. Sure, Sleeping Beauty is just about the most boring movie of all time but they made up for it with Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Peter Pan (barring the racism there), etc. Disney Princesses themselves weren't really much of characters themselves until Ariel, which is part of the reason people have forgotten these movies. Snow White barely has any characteristics besides being beautiful, Aurora is asleep the entire time, and Cinderella just sorta becomes beautiful without putting much effort into it. The original princess trinity, while certainly icons, have always been lacking in any distinguishable personality traits that make them interesting/compelling characters. This is partially due to them being products of their time, which meant that twenty years later when Disney released The Little Mermaid they decided to make a lead female character with, well, traits. If anything it's the prince who people complain about in this one. But, people often forget that Disney Princess movies are not the only movies that Disney makes. Between 1937 and 1967, Disney also released: Pinocchio Fantasia Dumbo Bambi Alice in Wonderland Peter Pan Lady and the Tramp 101 Dalmatians Sword and the Stone The Jungle Book While I don't love every movie on that list, I agree they are all worthy of recognition and definitely enjoyable to watch still.
  13. To Kill a Mockingbird and Perks of Being a Wallflower. I would willingly reread those ones
  14. Not sure if this fits, but I think the moral in Feeling Pinkie Keen could easily be misinterpreted, and was by many people, especially with this line: It goes even further when the whole resolution of this episode only comes once Twilight learns to just take a leap of faith, rather than listening to her own initiative. Besides, Twilights obsession with trying to disprove the pinkie sense in this episode always came across as off to me. It would've made a lot more sense if she had tried to find out why pinkie has a pinkie sense, rather than trying to prove that it doesn't exist. Twilight isn't stupid, and the amount of times pinkie was right about her pinkie sense should have been enough to convince her that pinkie wasn't making it up.
  15. A raridash episode would be nice. Rarity and Rainbow Dash have polar opposite interests, so it would be interesting to see Rarity try to convince RD to go to the spa, or to see RD try and convince Rarity to go to some sporting thing. I think it'd be a great opportunity for character interaction between two characters who rarely have interaction.
  16. Bisexual, but I find myself more attracted to girls than boys. But sexuality is super fluid, i think most people are a little bit bisexual
  17. Rarity for sure! Shopping with her and getting pampered would be so much fun. Alternatively, Pinkie would keep me entertained and I'm sure she knows all the coolest places to visit.
  18. While they're certainly nostalgic, their existence started to make the resolutions of the two-parters become a touch formulaic. I don't mind them being gone.

    movies/tv Best Anime?

Last time i updated my list i think i was around 170? Not counting everything ive abandoned before of course
  20. Starlight Glimmers presence in season six. I don't dislike her as a character or anything, but her inclusion in this season just seems kind of pointless to me. There are better villains that they could've chosen to develop further instead.
  21. I kind of hope not. Seeing each member of the mane six as an Alicorn would make them too overpowered as a group and make the group less diverse as a whole.
