    Twilight Sparkle borrowed one of my cameras for a project. Something about observing objects in different wavelengths of light. :ooh:

    Her camera holding spell is a bit shaky. Even alicorns need a tripod  ^_^

    Filter swaps in front of the lens:

    1. UV/IR Block (how typical cameras/our eyes see things)
    2. Unfiltered (Visible light + Near IR)
    3. Near IR (850-1200nm)

    Ah, the dreaded vapor lock... I dealt with this issue for a long time with my truck. Electric fuel pump conversion and insulating the lines fixed it for me.

      @Lucky Bolt, Not to worry. Matt is immune to vapor lock thanks to fuel injection's higher pressures and the presence of a return line. :fluttershy:

      It's an issue that plagues engines with carburetors. The fuel will literally boil inside the lines and carburetor if the engine compartment gets too hot, which will then stall the engine.

    Mine was great. Enjoyed some turkey with the family, watched the Cowboys lose to the Bills :ButtercupLaugh:, and my Saints got that win. Sloppy as hell, but a win is a win.

    This is why I love old guns. Internal parts and stocks were hand fitted and finished with pride. 

    Nowadays, most guns contain metal injection molded parts and the stocks are never fitted properly to the receiver  :eww:

      Lots of wildlife in the southeastern U.S., tho the wild hogs are getting out of control. 

      But you live in Australia. Way more dangerous animals than here. :P 

      Yeah, it's definitely not the same as here. Mississippi arguably has the most liberal gun laws in the country. No permit is required to carry weapons in public, concealed or openly. No registration, no ammo limits, etc. Machine guns are also legal here as long as they satisfy Federal laws.

      From what I gather, shotguns and bolt action rifles are fairly easy to get there. Not sure how old you are, but a 410 shotgun would be a great gun for learning.  ;)

      I'm currently 17, about to turn 18 in a couple of weeks. Having my own person gun would be cool, but I'm quite certain my parents will not allow it. But considering the safety sides of things, I do think I'd be better off without one. Don't want to accidentally pull the trigger, ya know. :umad:

      (Plus, I would be terrified by the presence of a gun.)

    I also watched the official trailer to Pony LIfe. Not sure what to think about it. Art style is cute, but it definitely has that Teen Titans Go vibe. My lil sister is obsessed with that show, so she'll probably like this one too.  :dash:

      I don't like it or dislike it, I have mixed feelings with this series ... for example ... it's 2D! and I was hoping that the 5G was 2D :squee:

      The same time I fear that this is 5G and not only a couple of shorts as expected. :mlp_please:

      @Berry-Bliss-Sundae, I definitely prefer 2D over CGI. I'm also wondering if the episodes are going to be 11 minutes each instead of the full length. 

      I think the art style for the ponies is cute, but I hope they don't follow the same style of humor as TTG.

      Truth be told, I would really enjoy a cute pony show with adult humor, kinda like the parodies on Youtube  :blush:

    Apparently some company just setup a gas well about a mile away from my house. Great. That explains the jet engine sound I heard last night. Couldn't sleep til they stopped around midnight.  :unamused:

    Can't wait to sell this damn place and move to my new property.  :yeahno:

      Yeah I usually use earbuds or headphones at night to sleep anyways. I usually listen to a podcast or something. Something about just having another voice to listen to is comforting and calming in a way.

      @Lord Valtasar, yep. It's fairly rural where I live so there's few restrictions. The well is in the middle of a cow pasture.  In my state, if the landowner owns the mineral rights, the gas company has to pay royalties for extracting the oil.

      Thankfully, I own the mineral rights to the land I live on.
