    I have a Lenovo ideapad 330. It's good enough for the stuff I used to do, but I've been finding myself needing more performance recently, so I'll have to get a desktop soon. Intel i5 8250U at 1.6 GHz, turbos to 3.4GHz Intel UHD 620 graphics 8 GB RAM 500 GB Samsung 860 SSD 900p 17 inch display I can't wait to build my first PC. I'll probably just throw an SSD, an RX 580, and some extra RAM into an old prebuilt. You can one with a gen 4 i7 for a little over $100 on eBay if you look hard enough, which is a really good deal.

    I've always loved fruit salad, but I used to hate regular salad until recently. Back when I was in college there wasn't really much edible in the dining hall, so I had to start eating salad basically as filler. Honestly, once you get a good combination of ingredients it can actually be really good (iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, dried cranberries, goldfish, and ranch make a great combination imo).

    Chocolate chip cookies are a classic that can't be beat. My mom's mint sugar cookies she makes for Christmas every year come very close, though.

    I've regressed and become very reclusive over the years. Seriously, I rarely spend time with anyone anymore. I've also kind of started to enjoy being alone, which I guess is a good thing for me? I've become much more organized and able to do tedious things. I can actually keep my room clean now, and I think I'm starting to become a germaphobe. Other than that it's just the basic stuff you'd expect as a person gets older.

    If you're desperate for a room I've only got one bed in mine, but there should be plenty of space on the floor. I also have a small camping mattress I might be able to squeeze on the train ride over if that works. I think it leaks but there's nothing duct tape can't solve.

    Just booked my hotel, now I need to wait for my next paycheck so I can get my train ticket and badge. Does anyone know when the schedule is going online?

    It's official. I'm going to BronyCon 2019. I haven't been this excited for anything in years.

    On that note, my hotel room only has one bed, but I have open floor space if someone wants to go but can't afford a hotel.

    I don't read many fics as most are either horribly written (I'm not a grammar nazi, so that's saying something), much longer than I have the time to read, or canceled. It's one of the ones that are too long for me to read all of, but Fallout Equestria is what inspired me to start my BattleTech crossover. I doubt it will ever get anywhere near the following FoE did considering the niche group of people who like BattleTech and MLP, but I still enjoy writing it.

    Roanoke is called "Star City" because we have the world's largest illuminated free-standing star. It's not amazing, but it's something.

    I finally got an SSD for my laptop, and it's ridiculous. It boots in 5 seconds, load times for games and programs don't exist, and I can finally use more than one program at a time.

    At band camp in high school one of our sousaphones talked a lot in his sleep, and I remember him saying "I don't want it" in a whiny voice one night.

    Good L_ck (Yo_'re F_cked) by celldweller I had completely forgotten about this song, but a streamer I watch had this playing in the background. And if you pay attention to one line of the lyrics, the title is actually really clever, not just a form of censorship.
