  1. I have really high hopes for this new Alex G album on the 18th. The two singles are really good, nice evolution on the sound he had on God Save The Animals.
  2. I’m taller than both, and taller than my cousins, and was taller than my granddads. Though being the tallest person in a family of short people isn’t really that much of an accomplishment.
  3. I had a full on panic attack for the first time in years today (yesterday, now). At a restaurant no less. I don’t even know what triggered it, was one of those that came out of nowhere.
  4. gonna name my first born child after Sam Dekker superfan
  5. As long as they’re not doing it to be malicious I could probably deal with it. That’s not really one of my personal pet peeves or anything. Would you date someone who likes to go cave diving?
  6. I’ve heard of bad hygiene being more of an issue at furcons and anime conventions tbh. I think the quirkiness comes from the fact that a lot of people in the fandom don’t really fit into traditional spaces and/or don’t conform to usual societal norms. You see this with the furry fandom as well. And because of that you end up with a group of individuals who tend to be sort of outcasts. And outcasts, for various reasons, don't usually have the best social upbringing which tends to lead to some awkwardness or social difficulties. Obviously none of that is a hard and fast rule or anything, there’s always going to be folks that deviate. This is all just observations I’ve noticed from personal experience and being in the MLP and furry fandom for a long time. And I’m absolutely not saying any of that is bad, if anything I think it’s great to see communities like MLP that allow us more weird folk to band together .
  7. Kinda. Not on the level of when I was an actual kid, but probably more than other people my age
  8. Happy birthday!

    1. Nsxile

      Nsxile

      Thanks! :hug2:

  9. I’ve been checking Walmart and Target whenever I visit them for Switch 2s, just out of curiosity mostly. Have yet to see a single one in stock at either store since launch.
  10. Saw a “Keep Portland Weird” sticker, in Toledo, on a car with Virginia plates. Huh?
  11. I read posts up until the July 2023 mark, any older than that I’m probably not going to know any of the users posting, or if I do it was so long ago they’ve likely posted in the thread again.
  12. Okay, look man, disclaimer, I was 16 at the time. I put paper towels inside a hot (475f 246c) oven once because a frozen pizza had fell apart inside it and I was trying to clean it up. Well, you know what happens when paper towels are exposed to temperatures that high? They spontaneously ignite and catch fire. Thankfully the inside of ovens aren’t flammable so nothing burnt except more of the pizza and the paper towels I put in there… Still, very stupid decision and one I will absolutely not make again. I have never put paper towels near anything high temperature since.
  13. Not keeping in close contact with two of my childhood friends. Always comes to mind as my biggest regret because a. these were the two people I spent the most time with during my most formative years, and b. because I had the opportunity to connect with them again but kinda wasted the opportunity. All on me. Just about everything else, it’s whatever. There’s usually so many factors that go into why things don’t work out, or go the way you want, or at the very least you learn something from failing or making the wrong choice, that I don’t really feel regrets towards anything else.
  14. Luftverteidigungsdiesel. I love long German words
  15. I’ve got the disease that makes you listen to Primus
  16. I somehow broke the website while replying to you. Anyway. Get this person a true. It varies from person to person, but speaking for myself, if I want advice or help I’ll specify that. Otherwise I’m just ranting, venting, whatever. And don’t really want any sort of advice. Communication is always key and imo it’s better to ask first before giving advice if you’re unsure. Especially if dealing with someone that might be in a fragile mental state.
  17. What?! Next you'll tell me not every Canadian is a hockey fanatic, and that Canadians don't eat Timbits and poutine for every meal (jk).
  18. Cigarettes. The smell of tobacco smoke permeates everything it touches. You will smell like cigarettes, your clean clothes will smell like cigarettes, your electronics will smell like cigarettes, your pets will smell like cigarettes, the dust in your house will reek of cigarettes. Not a fan of smokers.
  19. His name is Uni look him up on your computer
