Given the increased popularity, I hope they consider extending the amount of episodes past the already confirmed syndication requirement. I think DHX wouldn't have a problem keepin the show quality up with at least a couple more seasons, if Hasbro seems convinced that it'll help them in marketing. -

Not a big fan of Trixie, but I can respect the fact that she was created as an antagonist and therfore has less than a favorable personality. Diamond Tiara, on the other hand, was just over the top and honestly a complete b*tch throughout the whole family appreciation day episode. So if I have to pick 1 I'd say DT.

YES. Spike is best pimp! As for angel and the bitch slap... I have to say it just made me dislike the character even more. I was never a huge fan due to the way Fluttershy is treated and the scene helps solidify my dislike for him.

Have to agree with this. Honestly if it was all about love and tolerance, without even the occasional deviation to enhance the story line, I have a feeling we'd be looking at a G3 show all over again. The key difference between FiM and the failures before is that the show actually relates to real life scenarios, where things aren't always perfect and conflict does exist. I do think we're lightyears ahead of other fandoms, when it comes to acceptability and conduct, but not without the occasional slip ups. Things are bound to happen, and some person’s wrong actions can't hold the whole community accountable.

Well I think it depends on what you prefer. I hated glasses as well and switched to contacts about 6 years ago; haven't gone back since I think they're alot easier to handle and less of a hassle, plus nobody knows you’re wearing them xD. Mine are by a company called Acuvue I think.
