    Yet another great episode from DHX. Since Sonic Rainboom ranks High on my list of episodes, I wasn't too surprised when an episode so similar would be just as entertaining. I thought it was great when Twilight was nerding it up with the fan device, then spike came to the rescue with the simple explanations. Overall, the episode was well developed and each character equally contributed to the story in their unique way

    Yeah the fanbase is awesome! I can't agree with you more about the characterization, the development of the main six was definitely a thought through process and it shows

    I've never actually been too busy for ponies all together, however right now I'm swamped with brony stuff IRL. Between working with fellow meet up organizers and helping with events out here I've been trying to keep up with the forums, but sometimes I just can't find the time nowadays so I know how hectic life can be outside of the online community.

    I think the awesome characterization and story development make it superb to any other cartoon I've ever seen, and the show's upbeat and happy vibe does offer an escape from hectic reality.

    I figured most responses would say to pretty much just tell them flat out, which honestly is an awesome approach if you use it to tell people who are open minded and generally aren't judgmental. For people who you feel a bit concerned about, I'd go with a fan-based approach, introduce them to the popularity of the community and maybe show them a couple PMV's that show how FiM differs from the initial thoughts they may have had about simply the title of "My Little Pony." I for one haven't really told any of my friends, just been juggling my two lives between non-brony friends and a Brony meetup group I joined a couple months ago and so far it's worked out just fine

    Overall I think that DHX did a great job of matching their personalities with physical traits through awesome characterization Pinkie Pie’s poofy hair perfectly fits her random upbeat party attitude while twilights simple yet athletically pleasing design reflects her interests in studying. I can't see any flaws with the design choices made for the mane 6.

    Gah! I wish I could do this... somehow fan content just seems to change some views whether I try to divide it or not. My simple solution is just not to read most fanfics Although not having alot of time to read them is also a large factor.
