There were several aspects of the S6 finale that annoyed me. 1) Chrysalis having an easy time offscreen capturing the main 6, and all the alicorns. Pinkie is the one I was most surprised at. 2) The ease with which the changelings became changedlings. Thorax maybe, he had a lot of time with the ponies, and was charged up. The other lings? 3) The creepy Chrysalis thing. The whole owl-neck thing was unnecessary. 4) The whole design of the changedlings. I know if I were a changeling, I wouldn't want to see the 1970s deer beetle reflecting in my mirror. --- Flurry Heart fighting at the end didn't even blip my radar. I think if something attacked the cakes, Pound and Pumpkin wouldn't just sit there either.

Actually the longer the show exists the more modern the technology seems to be.

So, you find yourself in Equestria and the ponies do neighs and other pony noises, completely incomprehensible to you, but are otherwise friendly. At night you are visited by Luna in your dreams and she gives you a choice: 1) She can cast a spell on you that would assign the various words etc from your native tongue to their native tongue. This would make it far easier for you during your stay, but you would lose the ability to speak your native tongue pretty much permanently (you would have to relearn it if ever a way was found to send you back). Because of how it worked, it wouldn't be a good idea to try it a second time. 2) You could stay in Equestria while they worked on a way to get you back, but you would have to learn their language from scratch and it would not be the least bit easy, the languages being so very different from each other, and you would be stuck not being able to communicate at all to begin with and managing only the basics for a very long time. Even then it would at best be a difficult/alien second language to you as opposed to being a native language like you would have in 1.

With the prevalence of mind control magic, who can be sure that it isn't already?

Obsessed no, envious, maybe.

It is a tv show, and quite a good one. It is far from the first thing I have watched or participated in where my age group is not the norm. Unless I am aging backwards... I mean I used to play Bridge back when I was in college in 1988, where most people were significantly above my age and now at 47 I watch My Little Pony.

Consider overly perky peppy people and having to deal with them.

I would assume it is similar to here with one major exception. A pony can't conceive unless both stallion and mare actually want a foal. Pony magic would protect from having unwanted foals.

Just remember if you go in a pony costume to be nice to all the fawning 7 year olds clinging to you.

Of course with the availability of mind control magics, one could simply make it so nobody would ever find or read the books.

I would guess not. The form looked pretty permanent and why would they be able to change when their form is complete? Balance achieved. No love needed. No changing for the changedlings.

Daring Do is just one of many ponies and teams of ponies saving Equestria on a daily basis.

I'd probably look to games like Stardew Valley for an example of how an MLP game could be.

Say NO to cliffhangers. I don't like it in fics, and I wouldn't like it at all in the show itself. Cliffhangers are merely ending an episode in the middle.

Do we really know that Sunny wronged Celestia? We just don't have a whole lot of information. Plus it would not be out of character for Celestia to blame the faults of other ponies on herself and what she could or could not have done better. It is even more in her character to recognize improvement and make the first move.

They aren't compatible in that manner. Now Trixie and Discord might be.

Starlight is not at all autistic. She does seem to fit the definition of a sociopath though.

Actually wouldn't it be more "equal" and poignant if Celestia came to Sunset? Praise her over the progress and the life she has made, having found where she belongs.

Dash had a horrible accident with the wonderbolts and is now an instructor. Twilight the Scientist came through the mirror at Twilight's bequest to work on new magi-mechanical wings for Rainbow Dash. Celestia took a vacation and put Fluttershy in charge of moving the sun. She has a bad tendency of turning petitioners who offend her into animals to figure out things from their perspective. Rarity's chain of boutiques is bought out by Filthy Rich and she follows the breezies to their land when they came through one year later. Spike marries Ember and they rule the dragons together. Starlight Glimmer did one evil thing too many and ended up in Tartarus. After Granny Smith dies, the apple tree blight strikes Sweet Apple Acres. Not one tree survives. Applejack and Zecora go to her homeland to try to find a solution. AJ instead finds love and marries a Zebra in their lands. Discord and Trixie have many an adventure together. Pinkie Pie goes back in time and marries Grover the Griffon. Twilight studies the changes to the timeline, and eventually decides things are better as changed than as they were. The CMC succeed in getting griffons cutie marks and head off to Minos to see if they can help them as well.
