  1. popped my cherry today and picked up a toy at walmart today... and a box of bullets and the new issue of guns & ammo. i wonder if the cashier thought i was gonna off myself later that day lol. now the real fun begins... fixing the hair.
  2. rented it this morning, so im looking forward to loading up.. as soon as i catch up with everything online. ill post my thoughts once i have some controller time with the game. cant wait!
  3. im usually off from work, so its mostly wrenching and ponies. i might waste time on the xbox at night or wander the internet in search of inspiration. sometimes theres barhopping, bonfires, 4 wheeling, and trips to the range as well.
  4. bought a 2nd fluttershy tshirt, and waiting extremely patiently for it to come in the mail. most likely getting a 3rd one on payday, maybe something a little more subtle.
  5. i figure, what the hell. i might as well get a game this weekend since i dont have anything to do. no work, waiting on truck parts to come back from the machine shop, no social plans. game on lol. thanks too, i love this avatar. gotta love the stuff you can find on tumblr lol.
  6. 2:34 into it marks my conversion into a brony, that moment when i became hooked. not planning stopping anytime soon either, infact... i havent even started season 2 yet. https://www.youtube....h?v=qtKwdR8JeVQ
  7. that actually sounds pretty cool. i dont do the online component anymore, so my purchase is dependent on the quality of the single player game, and occasion dabbling in co-op zombies. i work hard for my money, so i make sure i get value out of the games i purchase, otherwise its better to wait for a good sale or pick it up during a bargin bin raid. i think ill be hitting up the local Redbox and give it a go, you have my intrigued about it. thanks!
  8. for those of you that have it: is it worth a rental? i dont plan on getting into the multiplayer (might dabble in zombies), but i would like to give the single player a run through as a weekend distraction. thoughts?
  9. the greatest fear is alienation by our peers. grown men (some of us) watching a show about ponies? its completely emasculating in the viewpoints of less secure men. im in my mid 20s and i enjoy MLP, but i also like going offroad, i drink beer, i shoot whiskey, i love to fish, i can start a fire without matches, i shoot guns enough to consider it a passion, ive taken apart more then one engine, i love cars that are fast and loud, i havent shaved my beard in 6 months, and i work in a warehouse lifting boxes all day. loving ponies wont have any effect on that at all and im not gonna apologize for liking it enough to wear a tshirt or proudly display a sticker on my truck. sorry, the whole "pony shows are only for girls" topic annoys me /end rant i think the worst part of it all is that alot more males would be into MLP if they gave it a chance. you wont be less of a man for enjoying it. doing manly things doesnt necessarily make you more or less of a man. its accepting being comfortable with who you are and not being afraid of being yourself. ponies taught me that.
  10. cant go wrong with motorhead, ever. 10/10
  11. ive only told a few people that i know, and all the girls throught it was sweet. the guys.... well... theres been some looks lol. MLP as a guilty pleasure isnt nearly as bad as some of the things people enjoy, so ill stick with cute pony shows.
  12. my personal favorite (so far): now im gonna browse the entire thread and fill my hard drive with cuteness <3
  13. i eat too many sunflowers everyday (a baggie of them is part of my EDC), i swear alot, i procrastinate too much, i spend too much money on shit i dont need (pony stuff doesnt fall into that catogory), i drive too fast, etc. i cant think of too many off the top of my head, since it all seems normal to me and i may not do them enough to notice. maybe someone i know should come in and reply. stuff Sks_burns does that annoys them. lol
  14. same way i walk through life: one step at a time. that, or softly on the balls of my feet, weapon at the ready with mushin like focus.
  15. how about this beauty: my buddies '61 biscayne. when he revs it, the whole car twists to one side. soooooo mean, and he wont let me drive it.
  16. im not entirely convinced, but you might be right. the wheels are the same color, but different designs. the lotus has a split spoke design similar to a BBS LM wheel, while the ones in your pic are more reminiscent of a Wantanabe style wheel. the graphics match up, but the rear end on the covered one looks longer then on the car in google photos. might just be the cover thats throwing me off. but why is it sitting on different wheels? only thing i can guess is that its because the car is in storage and they didnt wanna keep the racing wheels on it during its off season. the longer i look at it, the more it looks like a Enduro, so i think you might be right here. post another covered car, lets play again! lol
  17. definitely not on the Pagani. the lines are wrong, theyre too standardized, not outrageous enough to be a pagani. all of their cars have had an unmistakable profile, like a spaceship. lets look at the details real quick. the car is wearing a set of chrome wheels that are fairly cheap looking, so unless the owner has no taste, then we can rule out most high end cars and all the exotics. the car has a hatchback or fast back rear window since it slopes down. the cover is hiding the transition between the glass and tail, so the profile is harder to make out. it has a mildly long tail, so newer corvettes are ruled out. the tail also sweeps up slightly, so it is either part of the body, or the car has a subtle spoiler on it. so, that leaves us with a car with a glass rear window, medium length tail, and a up swept rear end. its not much to go on, but its enough. haha, this is fun. im enjoying myself today.
  18. i second Super Meat Boy, that game is brutally difficult, as are most of the later tracks in the two Trials games. i cant remember the last time i bought a game that was brutally hard... Gears of War is a good challenge with the difficulty maxed out.
  19. night time fort me, without a doubt. its good for my concentration, and i get all my project work done at night when no one else is awake. crank the music and get to work. when it was warmed on the east coast earlier this year. i had my garage door open, listening to Blue Lines by Massive Attack, taking a break from pulling the head on my Ranger, standing in the door and listening to the rain fall. it was just a perfect moment and i realized why i loved night time so much.
  20. the one under the cover in your pic has a profile like a corvette, before the tails got short. could also be a last generation supra since the end of the tail has a slight upturn. tough to say for sure, since the wheels dont look factory either.
  21. i honestly dont look. im a happily single male with little interest in relationships anymore. but ill play along anyway. i look for chicks that are kinda punky or country, can drive stick, tattoos are a plus, listen to the same music, might dabble in video games and wrenching. tomboy with a feminne edge that can get dirty and get her nails messed up, but still dress up and hit the bars the same night.
  22. im a high performance pony, turbo whine and bald tires in a cloud of smoke and black marks on pavement. well... thats how it looks in my mind. im sure thats not what the OP had in mind, but its still a type of performance lol.
