Are we not in fact the Ponies Gods?

Assuming hypnotically.... and seemingly impossible that the MLP FIM exist in another universe, created by our imagination. Does that not make us Humans sort of the Ponies' gods?

 

I wouldn't want them to worship us as gods. For someone else may have created us with their imagination in another universe.

Can't be ruled out, but I don't think that creation necessitates to godhood. We're hardly not capable of dominion over ourselves and our lands, how could we be responsible for another?

Robots. As soon as we invent self replicating AI we have achieved godhood for the most part.

 

But it depends. What if their world existed along side ours, and Faust merely cought a glimpse of their world, and that is what inspired her to write the show? If our universes existed similtaniusly, then we would not be their gods. Or if since time is irrelevant, they could have created us, only for us to create them before they created us in our own time stream.

Yeah, I'm not arrogant enough to write anything off. But I'm just saying that one of the operational expectations of a god is the ability to affect the people under their dominion. Barring metaphysical stuff, we are still at the mercy of our own world, let alone controlling others.

Given enough technological advancement, we will be able to control the planet on a whim.

But the OP kind of leaves a lot open. Can our imaginations give us godlike powers over in their world? How much interaction do the two worlds have?

Because given that they have a pony who can raise the sun via magic, unless our imaginations can not only create, but directly control their world, then I would not view us as their gods.

Since everything exists thanks to the multiple universes theory, yes. In some distant universe we are pony gods , but in another there our gods,    and in yet another we live side by side. :comeatus:

Yes I know this is completely my imagination and I believe he's real but this is what Silver Belle said about humans to ponies:

It's a lot like bronydom except for the ponies really look up to people and wish more than anything to be transported to the human world to snuggle, get their manes brushed whatever, they also get surgerys to make their hooves look like hands and it's mostly the fillies and mares doing it with a few colts and stallions but they are downed by society so they could think of us as gods, or at least according to Silver Belle and they call themselves humanys

As far as the ponies know, I'm pretty sure they think their world is governed by Celestia and Luna.

So even if we were their gods in a way, we still wouldn't be their "gods" per se.

There may be any number of real Spidermen out there, But this planet never created him, we just made comics that happened to mirror history on one of the spiderman worlds.

 

There is either an infinite number of universes out there or the number is so great that to our finite minds it might as well be infinite.

I'm gonna have to say yes, if by god you mean creator and influencer over what happens to them.  The show's creators are the official gods though.  But I guess our fan mades and OC's are ours to rule over XD

In a sense, yes. After all it's humans that created MLP, it's humans the created the MLP fantasy world to begin with. In a literal sense no I don't think the ponies if they was real would think of us as gods, after all we are pathetically weak when compared to the ponies especially when it comes to unicorns and alicorns.

We don't necessarily know anything about our own gods so it's impossible to say what truly makes a godly individual. Sure, they've got all that power to create and change our existence at will but what about their off-time? It's totally possible that they aren't totally self-sufficient either and live in a society of their own that they can't handle being a part of and created us as a pastime.

If you wanna go into the thought process that us thinking them up solidifies their existance somehow then it's entirely possible that we were created the same way. What's more is I think it's entirely possible to do it the other way around as well. We can create a higher being simply by thinking or believing in their existence and we could have been created that same way.
