So I might start a podcast

Hey guys. I've been thinking about doing a podcast or something similar to it for a while now, and I thought that the perfect way to get this going would be to ask you guys for help with this, so I'm gonna need to commission you guys for some things.

 

1. I'm gonna need some sort of graphical artist to help me do the backgrounds for the videos on Youtube and banners and things like that for my channel. I ain't paying you anything, so think of it as free advertising for your graphics.

 

2. I'll need a mixer to help with the recording and editing of the podcast (Thanks Neikos)

 

3. You guys are welcome to join in on recording the podcasts for the pony related stuff that I'm gonna be going into, but the political and news related stuff is gonna be done by me unless you're interested in what I'm gonna be talking about (I'll probably post info on the topics on twitter prior to recording or something like that). You'll need Skype, Steam, or Ventrilo to talk with me and Audacity or another audio recorder for the obvious unless I can record the conversation on my end (comment if you know a free program that will record both mic audio and Skype/Steam/Ventrilo chat audio together).

 

4. I need some followers/subscribers. I wouldn't post here if I didn't want that.

 

5. Anything else you guys wanna contribute with, like intros, music, etc. Whatever you want.

 

So are you guys interested?

I was thinking of using th GamerPonies thing and adding a podcast there. It would be about ponies gaming and stuff. I remember you being in the group I thought, so perhaps we could talk about it?

Wasn't sure. I've never tried using Audacity to record anything really.

It wouldn't entirely be about that sorta stuff. I was gonna do news, politics, video games, ponies, and whatever else I really felt like, but I'd be cool with doing your podcast too.

I like that Idea! Although it doesn't seem like there is an appeal to listen to it, no offense, but 'news, politics, video games, ponies' is pretty broad and I already have that covered on various other, more known websites/shows. What will set you apart from the others? ( asking you this so you and we all can get a better understanding of it )

Yeah, it wouldn't be pony centered but I would definitely go into pony stuff in every episode. It'll probably be a weekly thing, so I'll be able to gather a good amount of stuff.

I think you pitched a concept idea of this to me in school today. You mentioned the possible inclusion of Pokemon battles, so that's something to consider. I'd be glad to contribute if I had any idea how. Getting Skype might be a good starting point, lol

Possible name option: The Quadruple Podcast. It's medical humor out of the blue (quadruple bypass), and it shall be a Podcast consisting of Ponies, Politics, and possibly some Pokemon. And other stuff that doesn't start with P. It's a bit of a non-indicative name without some explanation, though, but hey, I'm all for cringe-inducing puns.
