Why is that people in this thread only know the entry level musicians of their favorite sub-genres?

Because I really only just recently started getting more into metal? Plus I like entry stuff. Sue me.

I doubt that Converge, Shai Hulud, and Norma Jean are entry level Metalcore bands. Seriously, stuff like Killswitch Engage, Atreyu and As I Lay Dying are entry level.

Those bands are 100% Rock, though there is a slight possibility of them being Metal. To me Sick Puppies and Saliva are kind of borderline between Rock and Metal, like the way Avenged Sevenfold are.

I listened to a band named Hooves In The Throne Room, they made Black Metal covers of MLP songs. They were actually okay, but the only problem was the vocals, they were so meh.

I'd like to see some more, myself. I've actually been working on-and-off on writing my own thrashy pony song for a while, but chances are low that I'll ever bother recording it, since I find the brony community's general lack of interest in metal...discouraging.

You guys and your Thrash bands, damn I actually didn't mind that Exodus song also that 2nd Megadeth song that RD92 posted, surprisingly, and I've also taken a liking for that Sodom track, I think that Thrash Metal is starting to grow onto me. That's it, I'm re-listening to every single Converge album that I own so that I can feel like I'm myself, I swear if you post another band that I dislike and I end up liking it, then I'll jump out of the window, I blame me listening to Sepultura all day for this madness, if you don't know me well enough I tend to grow onto things more quickly once I become obssesed with one band from a genre that I dislike, I guess something in me snaps and then I like that genre.

Now there's more Thrash in my YouTube recommendations than Metalcore...damn.
