Seriously though, as a Youtuber myself, I'd ignore them. The same old science vs religion debate will pop up, memes will be referenced, and in the end of the day, the sun will still rise the next day, the birds will still sing, and the amount of fudges given is still zero.

Lack of puncuation, excessive trolling, blind hatred, meme spamming of the worst memes, blatant advertisers, spam account advertisers, those people who say 'first', people who's comments are obviously made before they even watch a second of the video, people who spoil things either related or even unrelated to the video... you see it all there on Youtube. This kind of stuff is everywhere there.

YouTube is a trolling haven. It's a website where you can easily post your stuff for everyone to see.

 

You can rarely ever have an intelligent discussion on there without being attacked by morons, trolls, and spambots (at least until the Google+ integration) because of the really low barrier to entry and the sheer size of the site making it incredibly hard to police. It's one of the main places on the Internet where logical thinking exists only in a vacuum.

 

Many of the comments are ignorant and say some of the most inane and stupid bullshit you can hear anywhere and fuel some of the dumbest debates and flamewars.

 

It's cheap entertainment that comes only at the cost of your faith in humanity.

I hate how all the comments sections seem to devolve into people saying one of a handful of things:

 

- "um ur a fag lol"

- "I just made 216 dollars in 4 minutes by taking surveys online! CLICK HERE TO GET STARTED!"

- "i love your videos!!!! will you promote me!? will you watch my video!?!?!?"

- "THIS IS ALL OBAMA'S FAULT."

- "Hello, I'm Mr. Passive-Agressive Intellectual! I'm going to comment on your video like I'm trying to be super polite, but really I'm just saying back-handed insults and trying to start political debates about unrelated shit. Go die. :)"

- "this is gay."

Another thing i hate about the YouTube comments is that people can leave such rude comments on the videos and sometimes rude comments targeted at the YouTuber. They dont realize that when they see the comment it could really hurt their feelings.

The comment section of youtube is a place for everything except commenting on the video. Flame wars erupt over shit you didn't even know people could argue about, and I'm pretty sure it's where Satan grows new demons. I mean, I'm not an expert or anything, but if I was Satan, that would definitely be my ideal location.

The fact that people can post anything they want without consquence. There's a flood of trolls, spammers, etc. that post trash that's untrue. I've seen a lot of them in Video Game related videos and of course MLP videos. Like a Nintendo video can get a troll comment from a Playstation user and start flame wars. And MLP videos are bound to get troll comments especially if it has lots of views because "it's a little girls show".

I'm a strongly devout Christian, but I don't go around bashing people for believing in a different god, or believing in no God/god at all. It's makes me frustrated when I see other "Christians" bashing people for their beliefs.

 

Or, when it comes to stupid things like MLP. That's a topic NO ONE should argue about. Either like it or don't, I don't care. But what ticks me off, too is when "bronies" have this idea that they love and tolerate but can't ever love and tolerate a person for their life.
