I think this looks like it could be a good idea, with you three making some interactions between all these new characters just entering Ponyville. The dragon/pony hybrid were a fun one I wanted to meet meself, but I can have some patience and just see how things goes there, and eventually step in at a later date, if not sought out, depending on how you folks do, if need be.

Anyway, it seems like there's some options to go by, Sekel and Pinkfire. Any particular family member you fancy running into?

Shortstack is definitely one of the more interesting characters I’ve read about. he sounds like a good fit for Dazzle. Let's go with Dazzle meeting up with Shortstack and see how that goes.

Hmm, I honestly dont have a preference for who I run into!! I think all sound pretty amazing :,3  But I definitely would like to interact with Widdershins, if thats okay.

 

I think I'll work on writing my entrance and he can respond to it however he likes? And all our paths will cross soon I'm sure of it x3 ♥

Huh. I'm getting a vaugely Sin City Frank Miller tone from how I just wrote Shortstack's enterance. Lol! Go figure. 

 Oh, and don't think I didn't notice that lil' curveball, @Blitz Boom! I introduce an intimdatingly large mare... and you come back with your Mare's Stallion who just happens to be meeting the other brother! Now I have to wonder the Levels of Not-Sure-If-Want that could have happened!

No worries! Pinkfire honestly wouldnt investigate a loud sound, she'd likely bounce as soon as she heard it. But being in Sugarcube Corner after closing hours seems most plausible, as that's when she'd be getting ready to steal some food and take it back home!

She's never interacted with another pony in many years, so usually loud sounds = causes her to bounce. Sadly something/someone would have to be chasing after her in order for her to forcibly interact xD

However, if there's a trap she could possibly be lured if something incredibly delicious is in her way.

 

Maybe she's been stealing from Sugarcube Corner for a few days now, and someone have set up a trap to catch the thief?

The time of day? Uuuh... Midday, I think. I lost track ages ago.  And yes, it's in Ponyville, though it sounds as if Widders and you got it sorted now, so that's great.

And Widders? I honestly had no big intentions with putting in Alonsus where I did. I simply thought *Who'd interact with an effiminate stallion?* and he just popped out to me. Also, he's really not a mare's stallion, even though he'd like to be. The only two mares who can tolerate his presence in the long run are Long Stare and Berry Swirl, and they're not interested, and neither is he, for varied reasons. (one of them being that Berry is crazy)

As for your big mare... Well, I had planned for Scarcity to come to Ponyville a while now, and this seemed as good a time as any. Plus, she's the most calm and collected one I had. I assumed that were wise rather than one who'd get all scared at the large mare running towards them, or one like Ziggy, who'd hug her, and then try to convince her to let the zegasus ride her into battle like a war elephant.

...I would've done that last thing if Ziggy weren't occupied, for the record.

 Hmm, while I'm debating how to get @Pinkfire into Sugarcube Corner; I think I can play on ahead long as they post first! Not too sure about overall time in the RP as I had the scenes with Dawn Streak finish up at night since I figured we were behind there.

Well, Pinkfire said that she might be able to lure into a trap, so... You could meet just besides Sugarcube Corner, with her being in a heavy box shaking around.

Y'know, the classic trap with a box, stick, and a treat to lure in the culprit in the middle. In this case, perhaps a muffin, or brownie.

If you'like, I could make a post setting the scene, and then you two could start from there? Whatever I can do to help. :)

I'm sorry for the delay on this, but sometimes, things require me to cut a bit of time here and there to make things work as smoothly as possible, and today that sadly includes the four-six hours I would've spent making a reply here.

Technically I could just do one paragraph responses to everyone and save some time there, but I'd prefer not to cheapen the experience by crunching out something sub par.

 It's a thing I'm working on. To kind of show that the Cephalli "Family" aren't normal, biological ponies. They're magically crafted host bodies for transplanted sentiences. As done by a chaos-infused Hydra. Which I eventually seek to unleash in the middle of a populated city that's out in the country and doesn't have the resources to handle a Kaiju attack.

....I think we might be Evil.

Okay, actually read the biographies now!

 @Sekel While I still have a teensy bit of trouble mentally picturing all of Dazzle together, I agree, you've done a fine job of making a hybrid. Though the wings are what make a pegasus and dragons already do have wings so not all that drastic of a species combination and that's a good thing. Dragons have always been composite creatures with horse based head structure. "Dragonpony" is a suitable moniker, I daresay.

 Probably don't need to emphasize so much that she's some freakish mixup. I say, genetics foul up something easy in just about every species! Did you know your average human has the capacity to grow a literal Unicorn horn?... not a pretty one, no, but still. Hair growing into one column=horn!

 And @Pinkfire? You shouldn't have to worry about using the overdone trope of Amnesia to write off the parents. There's no real NEED to address who or where or what her relationship with her parents are. (almost all of MLP's main cast of mares took half a dozen seasons to even mention their parents and even when they did show up it wasn't too big a deal.) I would say it be simple enough to say she moved out of her parents place and they're just some vague other place.

 Would like to say too.... we've seen Rainbow Dash's place. It is entirely possible to carve an entire, functioning apartment out of just a cloud. Like, in MLP logic it isn't that much to ask for a functioning kitchen and refrigerator with working plumbing and solid floors a pegasus doesn't need to worry about falling through. Though... Pinkie Pie did walk right through the walls, so its still cloud... somehow. My point is! She could just have made her own, personal Cloudiminum (yes, cannonical name!) and just hasen't left it enough times to know much of the world, especially Ponyville.

@Sekel Well, I, uh mean that... Like, you spent less time saying what she did or does with her days and more of on how her parents nearly thought of her as a freak of nature. And I saying that freaks o' nature ain't as rare as all that. Nearly every one in my family has a ear off a few inches or some such that always gets brought up in conversation. Granted, my family was always critical and that's likely where I get it from but... I digress! I liked how you said that they had to uniquely baby-proof the house for her for a while.

 I think, maybe, sometimes too much focus is put on trying to make your OC have remarkably unique physical qualities to the point of pretty much mutating them. And that's something I happen to lean on heavily too! There be a differentiation between What They Are and How They Live With What They Are, if you get me?

 Like, case in point, Spike doesn't have usual firebreath for a dragon either. The show hasn't made any further clarification as to how its different and other wild dragons would more than take a chance to point out its strangeness but... he also didn't have any parents, per se. No doubt Twilight has tweaked his firebreath and walked him through it even if he hasn't, until now, had another dragon to compare it to. In your case, if she has the capacity to do so at all, its likely her father can breath fire and has enough experience to know its slightly different where her mother would be more lost on such technicalities.

 (Gosh, Is it just me or is the father always the more outlandish parent in cases of hybrids? Like, every half-orc just happens to have the mother be the elf!)

 Oh, and was wondering if you wanted a size comparison @Blitz Boom?

 You know me enough that I'm libel to exaggerate, and to be fair cartoonish impacts are a rule in Equestria. It certainly can't be just Pinkie Pie to fall seven stories and bounce like she's rubber, right? As much chaos that goes on in Ponyville, I'm sure broken bones aren't all that common! We've had Dash faceplant a mountainside several dozen times... and she only gets hospitalized when its needed for the plot! Hee!

 Anyway! While maybe, sometimes, I roleplay Sunny Flush as if she's the size of a house... I am trying my best to keep her at Celestia-as-an-Earth-Pony size. Tia is pretty much twice the size of anypony and even a head taller than her sister, but she still does have decidedly Unicorn physique. So technically, I would say that the average pony, Scarcity in this case, comes up to her chest. 

 I am kind of going for the "spell backfire" of hydra traits coming across a little in the makeshift forms of the horseforms. Like how Shortstack has way out of proportion strength, as if he was still the size he was when part of the hydra. Any spell, no matter how strong, should take any chance to revert back to natural order. 

 Do wish any to point out if any part of what holds Gallimaufry together doesn't quite logically work.

Oh, you're talking about Dazzle's backstory. I thought you were talking about the posts I've made with her. I don't really put a lot into backstories of the characters I come up with because I generally fill them out as I go along with their stories. But I get what you're saying, don't worry about that.

I sorta have it as a head cannon that dragons are related in some way to elements, as dragons are varied and historically comes off as creatures made of magic to some degree, so Spike having a special fire might just be a fire dragon, who expresses his initiate magic through his connected element, yet in a unique way that Twilight might well have fostered as it were rather practical.

Not all dragons have magic I can imagine, and even fewer trains it, but Spike's around the nerd princess. I'm sure if anyone would encourage magic learning, it'd be her. If only because she could take advantage of it

As for the size comparison, I were actually convinced that Sunny were about the size of a house, considering the descriptions you gave of her so far. That she's only around Celestia's size makes things rather... Troubling, though I do have an out there if need be. Been some strange draconequui misdeeds in the area in recent days, so perhaps a few illusions have lingered around causing some sight issues, making her seem enormous until they got out of a certain area. Something which she herself wouldn't even bite notice in more than likely, as it is perception from others about her. I dunno what you'd think about that idea to make it fit?

I could also just have Anomaly pop in briefly to more or less yell *Gotcha!* before bouncing off with a laugh as everyone would get mighty confused at what they had seen.

Also, Rainbow Crash is a weird one that might just be a tough nut, but Pinkie is likely made of some sort of rubber, so I don't think any in universe laws of physics counts for her.

 I figure cartoon physics is integral to the realm of Equestria! Big Macintosh can haul an entire house behind him while skipping merrily... yet struggle under a seven tier cake. I figure ponies is stronger than they think especially when they’re Earth Ponies and ESPECIALLY by accident or comedic effect!

 I play Sunny Flush as litterally larger than life. The sorta hugger you can’t do much about once she starts! I figure she can buck a tree out of the ground without trying and causes tremors whenever she pounces from excitement. She’s only a Comedic Bonecrusher!
