First Pony to Have a Colt Friend?

The name says it all. What do you guys think? Can be Outside of the mane six, or one of them. I personally believe Rarity or Twilight Sparkle (because of Flash Sentry) will be the first.

I don't really want any of them to have coltfriends but I'd guess Twilight Sparkle too because she seems to be the pony the show focuses on the most and, yes, because of Flash Sentry. But I do hope I'm wrong about that (I don't like Flash...)

Just you watch! One of the most unlikely characters will have a coltfriend at the beginning of episode 3 of season 5 and it will be a character nopony would ever had expected to see! Like Scootaloo or Applejack!

Most likely I think Rarity would be the first one with a coltfriend. She's the only one who's exhibited truly serious and in one case even obsessive crushes on stallions. She may most likely find her dream colt eventually Twilight is also a likely candidate what with Flash and all....but I doubt that will ever become truly serious in the show

 

So yeah, we may get that or the writers can throw us for a loop and throw in a really unexpected couple in the future

The first to have a colt friend would probably be Rarity. I mean she already had that failed date at the Gala and seems to be the only mane six really interested in pursuing stallions (other than Twilight but that's only one guy).

Rarity is most likely to get a boyfriend since she's already actively look for someone

 

Then on the second place would be Twilight if Equestria Girls get a mention, also main characters usually get a romantic focus

 

Third place would be for Pinkie and Fluttershy since they have established male friends like Cheese or Discord so who knows what they will do

 

Fourth would be for Dash and Applejack because they seem to be against the idea of romance and boys and more focus on career or work

Rarity is the most likely because she seems to be the one who is most interested in finding one but if they are going to do it I would like to see somepony who is a bit more unexpected like Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash.

Twilight or Cheerilee, Everyone is saying Rarity but if you took a second to think about it.. Hasbro isn't going to crush Spikes dreams. Every viewer is aware of the SpikexRarity ship and Hasbro won't back down.

 

Twilight will probably get a colt friend just because she's the main protagonist.

 

Cheerilee will maybe get a colt friend and that Colt friend may be Big Macintosh, Big Macintosh x Cheerilee was played at with Hearts and Hooves day as they tried to get married under the love potions "Curse" given to them by the infamous Cutie Mark Crusaders. Later in the show on the episode Filli Vanilli during one of the concerts it shows the side-character Cheerilee "falling with awe" at Big Macintosh's singing.

 

This can go either way, but I don't think Rarity will be the first to find their significant other. If anything as a joke for Hasbro Rarity will find true love last and finally realize that Spike would go to Heaven and Hell and in between for her.

They should hook up Rainbow dash and Soarin just to mess with everyone that just assumes Dash is a lesbian just because she has a rainbow mane and is a bit of a tomboy.

 

Start by showing them together in the background for a couple of episodes before dropping it on everyone.

Agreed, and even the Spike/Rarity pairing should stay the way it has been IMHO, which hasn't gotten serious or shown any signs of it while at the same time hasn't been crushed. That said, hypothetically speaking, Rarity does seem like the most likely candidate for a love interest, and no, I don't think Twilight's relationship with Flash Sentry will mean anything outside of Equestria Girls. If the superstition that whoever catches the bouquet is most likely to be the next to get married is treated as a plot device then we can expect Rarity to get married next, but that doesn't necessarily mean that she will be the first to enter a relationship with somepony, and none of the Mane Six are even close to the age where I think it would make sense for them to get married.

Depends on what you mean. Is it a casual boyfriend or a longterm 1? The former is more than likely especially with the characters Rarity and Rainbow. Rarity did after all have an infatuation with Trenderhoof however shallow it was. Its also not beyond possibility that most of the Mane 6, save Fluttershy had a short term boyfriend, possibly as a 1 time date on Hearts and Hooves day.

I'd say tecnically FlashLight is already canon. They may not be in an actual relationship yet but it has been hinted at enough that it is bound to happen at some point.

 

Cheerilee and Big Mac seen to have a thing for each other since Harts and Hooves Day. They have been seen togeather in the background.

 

I think Rarity will be one of the last to get a colt friend. She seems to always go after the wrong type of guy. She's just trying too hard. And then there is Spike, although I don't give that ship any weight since the species gap is too large.

 

I personally would like to see Rainbow and Soarin become close. She is embarrassed to show emotion and affection so she puts on a tough tomboy exterior but when she's around Tank the big softy that she is breaks through. It would be both funny and painfully awkward to see her interact with a boyfriend the same way she acts with Tank. She might even try to keep the relationship a secret from the remane 5 so as not to deminish her reputation.
