Have you ever met someone like a Mane Six IRL?

So personally I know someone almost identical to Rarity. Hell, she even plays piano. I also know two girls that if you put them together it would make pinkie pie. There's the random one and the girl who goes around being friends with everyone and I wouldn't be surprised if she broke out into the smile song. Anyways have you ever met anyone from the Mane Six IRL? Or Spike? (Spike is best pony)

I apparently remind my friends of a cross between Rarity and Twilight.

 

But other than that, I knew of one of my friends who acted like Pinkie Pie, loved having fun, was usually giggly/happy, and even dyed her hair pink.  

 

I knew of a friend like Rarity whom loved make-up, gossiping, enjoyed talking about romance and constantly pursued their "one true love". 

 

I knew of one like Rainbow Dash who was usually laughing, loved hanging out with others, loved video games, was fast, and whom liked pulling pranks.

 

I only have one friend I hang out with now but she reminds me of Applejack. Honest, hard working, likes having fun, spends time with her family, and even has blonde hair.

 

Pretty sure that's about it, my friends and I were basically the mane 6, too bad I don't talk to any of them except one at this point.

Applejack: I personally know an adult who talks like her.

Pinkie Pie: Yep. Lots of peers who like to party and dance remind me of her.

Rainbow Dash: Yep. Jocks are like that and the ones I've mentioned above are like her in a way.

Fluttershy: I'm similar to her and so are many peers who are shy or are on the autism spectrum are like her.

Rarity: Not even close.

I used to have a GF who was exactly like rainbow dash personality, cocky, arrogant, very sporty / tomboyish but also very loyal. Great times but all things come too an end. Besides that not really, you could just say all shy people are like fluttershy, all smart ones like twilight etc, I think the ponies in the show generally are based off personality stereotypes anyway

There was this girl at my school last year, she was EXACTLY LIKE FLUTTERSHY. She LOVED animals, was really shy and sensitive, but she was really nice. She also was blond and wore pastel pink clothes.

Now that I think about it I knew a fluttershy in the past. She was extremely shy and awkward and easily manipulated by random people, often ended up being embarrassed, and had a really weird connection to animals. Like to the point where it's creepy. She would put out her arms and like butterflies would fly onto them and sit there. You'd have to see it to believe it.

Yes, a very long time ago when I was an oil rig worker in Wyoming. Her name was Eleanor Folger, related to the Folger Coffee family. A very beautiful brunette with large, soft, brown eyes, a tall, graceful, elegant but a very sweet, down-to-earth even practical woman. She was there to inspect some cattle ranch holdings for her family.

 

I met her in a cafe/restaurant in Sundance. We were in line getting morning coffee. She was wearing jeans, cowboy boots, a flannel workshirt and Stetson cowboy hat, her long, golden brown hair tied up in a pony tail. She wore that typical Western style work outfit with true grace and style. She moved like a cat, all confidece, fluid like water. I was instantly smitten. I struck up a conversation with her.

 

She talked like with the inflections and tones of a Harvard graduate, like someone who was born into and raised in old money, very charming and, oddly, her aristocratic brogue didn't seem out of place in that setting. She was there for the summer to help with ranch management.

 

There was nothing forced about her, there was no aire or attitude of superiority or condescension. Her voice flowed from her lips sweet as honey.

 

We talked about ranching and compared the different breeds of horses we liked. It was then that she told me of how she loved to ride, loved to spend her days on the ranch, working with the ranch hands and the livestock, how she didn't mind getting her hands dirty for a good reason. She was, after all, and by her choice, a good ol' working girl who could rope and ride with the best of them. We became instant friends.

 

She was in no hurry and neither was I. We spent the better part of an hour that morning talking about our experiences; hers with the cattle ranch and mine working on the oil rigs in the hot, summer sun.

 

Her interest, as was mine, was genuine and we hung on each others words.

 

I was still in my first marriage at that time so we could never become more than friends. Still, over time, our friendship grew and deepened, even to the point of mutual love.

 

Had I been single I'm sure I would have asked her to marry me and I strongly suspect she would have said yes.

 

That summer in Wyoming was some of the happiest days of my life and time spent with Eleanor was sheer bliss.

 

Sadly, summer came and went and Eleanor with it. Sadly, we didn't stay in contact. I wish we had.

 

So, when I think of Eleanor I instantly think of Rarity because, although Eleanor didn't mind getting her hands dirty, she was still kind, intelligent, thoughtful, caring, sweet and generous in spirit and very beautiful. So, more than any other character in the show, Eleanor was like that.

During my last few years of high school, there was a girl in my art class who was pretty much Fluttershy in human form. I didn't talk to her all that much, but you could see the similarities almost right away.
