MLP Friends Forever Team Up Wish List

If you look on Equestria Daily it Is indicating that MLP Friends Forever Issue 21 will be Spike & Zecora team up. That got me thinking that there have been some team ups that we haven't got yet that I think would be pretty fun and/or interesting. With that being said I have a Friends Forever Team Up Wish List. If you don't agree with me that's fine everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'd also like to hear feedback and/or what team ups you'd like to see in the Friends Forever series. So with that out of the way here's my list of dream teams.

Pinkie Pie and Discord- The fourth wall breaker and lord of chaos work together to save/ruin the day in any way they can.

 

Big Mac and Fluttershy- I want to tease the shippers

 

Spike and Big Mac- We need man time and a friend for Spike

Rainbow Dash and Rarity, the one Mane 6 pairing the writers of both the show and the comics seem to be going out of their way to avoid

Princess Celestia and Zecora. Not just because Celestia has had only one issue so far, but both Zecora and Celestia were intended to be Twilight's mentor figures with a sun cutie mark, so it would neat to see the two of these mentor figures play off one another.

 

Rarity and Princess Luna. Besides the obvious fact that they're voiced by the same person, the comics haven't gone into detail about the fact that both of them were hosts for the Nightmare.

 

Fluttershy and Gilda. Especially if it's post-Griffonstone Gilda.

This is the beauty of the Friends Forever line, so many possibilities and that only with two ponies.

 

For me I'd like to see these pairs in an issue:

Well, for me personally, there's no such thing as a bad pairing in FF. Some of the ones seen more commonly in the show don't excite me as much initially, but issue 8 proves that anything with Rarity and Applejack practically writes itself. The less traditional pairings often take too long to set up and effectively end before we can get the most out of the pairing, but the novelty of unusual pairings is still there. Besides, the pairings you came up with are your personal "dream teams", so maybe that's why no one is critiquing them.

 

To be honest, I don't have as many pairings, but I have thought about characters I would like to see paired off with someone in an issue. While I'm not the biggest Cadance fan in the world, I think it's about time for her to be featured in an issue, even if it's not with anyone unusual, such as a Twilight/Cadance issue. An issue featuring Maud Pie would also be nice, even if it's just with Pinkie. As for pairings, I think a Celestia/Luna issue would be fun. Heck, even a Celestia or Luna/Cadance issue could work. Shining Armor and Spike? Applebloom and Big Mac? Moments between those two are a little bit sparse, despite them being siblings. Luna and Zecora maybe? Anything's possible in the realm of Friends Forever.

The one that I would want the most is actually becoming a thing, Luna and Discord.

 

Aside from that, I think the show's version of Doctor Whooves, although almost certainly not timelord, is pretty cool. I'd like to see him in a comic with Discord, Twilight (I'd love to see a magic nerd interact with a science nerd), or Trixie.

Sounds like a good team-up for FF 

 

I've been thinking something, I got that idea that Sunny should return to Equestria in an episode as a guess star, like the Power Rangers do in most seasons, and that gave me an idea that it would be fun for a FF team-up between... PONY PINKIE WITH HUMAN PINKIE 

Synopsis: Human Pinks goes to Equestria out of curiosity, meets pony Pinks, shenanigans ensues

Woah, no Celestia/fluttershy one? Dang, that's a surprise O_O

 

Fluttershy/celestia is BY FAR the team up I want to see most, due to the fact that celestia and Fluttershy seem to be very similar in a personality setup. I think celestia's gentle, mothering demeanor matches up with Fluttershy incredibly well, and the motherly way that Celestia watches over equestria is similar to how fluttershy takes care of her animals.


Sadly, They already did the "learn to be tough to take care of those under you" theme with It aint easy being breezy, because I could easily have seen Celestia imparting that lesson to Fluttershy.
Either way, I really want to see those two together.
