Canterlot Boutique huh? Does that mean the presumably leaked episode list for the second half of Season 5 is correct?

The descriptions were confirmed fake, but the titles are most likely true.

 

The leaked description of the episode was:

 

"Luscious Laces, a famous Canterlot designer, invites Rarity to work in her Boutique, but the workload becomes too much for her."

 

Not that far off, but still has an obviously false detail: the leaked description states Rarity is invited to work in a Boutique, but the new one states that she becomes the owner of one. However, they're both Rarity episodes, and they both actions lead to a consequence, although the new description doesn't say what that is. It might not have anything to do with the workload.

Looks like Scare-Master isn't going to air until October in order to put it closer to Halloween, since they're airing Rarity Investigates before it.

The Rarity Investigates synopsis sounds a lot like Turnabout Storm, but with Rarity solving the case instead of Twilight.

My main hope for those episodes is that they don't revolve around Twilight's status as a princess or how it effects the others. So far, almost every slice of life episode in season 5 focusing on the Mane Six has done exactly that, with the only exception (Tanks for the Memories) involving no social interaction outside the Mane Six.

Well that was a lot shorter than I expected. I though it would come back after EQG 3, not before it.

The Canterlot one looks really interesting, but in my usual pessimistic way, the Rarity Rainbow Dash one has not sparked excitement but a small amount of dread in me.  Well here's hoping the show proves me wrong on it.

The synopsis clearly states that it's a crime she DIDN'T commit, so she shouldn't be punished at all hopefully.
