Varrack 1,080 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 Yes!! I'm a 16 year old male but almost everyone thinks I'm at least 5 years older. I don't really like it, but ah well. Well, it's better than people thinking you're younger
Black Viper 131 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 Well, it's better than people thinking you're younger I agree and disagree with that at the same time. In some cases it's good, but people mistaking my mum for my wife is not something I enjoy
TheRockARockster 52,103 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 Yes, a lot of people think I'm 18 or 21 when I'm really 27. I take it as a compliment though, it makes me feel a lot younger. sig by @Kyoshi
DJW 142 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 On the odd occasion. Someone I knew recently was gobsmacked when they discovered I was 31, she thought I was in my early-mid twenties. Last year I got IDed for alcohol as well (18 in the UK). Apparently having a haircut and getting rid of the face-fuzz, 'does me wonders'.
SoniaSquishy 71 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 I'm around 15, and people commonly mistake me for being somewhere in my twenties, or sometimes even thirties! It's kinda silly, because a lot of times this get's brought up because various stores want to hire me (and I REAAALLY don't like the idea of working at a GameStop or a computer store). Bonus story, some guy bought my friend a drink because the guy mistook him for a girl (bought it for him as an apology), it was pretty silly to watch. LostButterflyUtau 780 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 ALL. THE. TIME. I'm twenty-two and small. The youngest I get is twelve the oldest is eighteen. Maybe. "I love all history because it's storytelling" - Natalie Dormer
ShutterBat 134 September 29, 2015 Share September 29, 2015 I am 19, and I have had people assume I am 21 before. It also happened to me a lot growing up too. I was 14, but people assumed I was 17.

DJW 142 September 30, 2015 Share September 30, 2015 To be fair dude, that's entirely reasonable. And it's only going to get 'worse' as you get older. Establishments, employers and employees face significant repercussions if they are caught breaking the law, especially when it comes to alcohol (I work in a pub). As a result they tend to fully exercise their legal duty to enquire on your right for you to engage in an activity - it is simply not worth the risk to get it wrong. When it comes to bigger companies with large amounts of anonymous customer volumes, that risk aversion becomes ever greater.
Wyzecat 350 October 1, 2015 Share October 1, 2015 Until a few years ago, people constantly said that they thought I was 10 or 11. Now, I don't know because nobody's said anything. Semper ubi sub ubi Wyzecat supra omnia
vivishy 1,032 October 1, 2015 Share October 1, 2015 I'm 20 and people say I look 16. Haha whenever they see me next to my sister they say we either look like twins or like she's my older sister, when I'm the older sister. Not really sure any more. InfectedPone 1,550 October 1, 2015 Share October 1, 2015 People often say that I look 2 or 3 years older than I actually am, and I don't know how old people think I am on the forums.
Jinxie Umbra 149 October 1, 2015 Share October 1, 2015 Keeping a blank expression on my face at all times has thus far prevented the development of wrinkles. People often think I'm about 20. I'm sure it won't last much longer, though. 1 Dr. Jinxie Umbra Angriest Statue in Celestia's Garden

LunaDream 331 November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 Many people think that I am younger than I am. I have never been tall, so maybe this is why they think that. 2 Signature made by Odyssey (Sawk) LunaDream

Adente 1,000 November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 I've been able to walk into bars and be marked as 21, even though I just turned 20, and I don't even own a fake ID. So I guess I must look around 25+ish, which is a blessing.
SlenderSlayer24 127 November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 Back in my middle school years I attended a high school dance and got a really cute Senior to dance with me under the pretense that I was a Senior for another school. I am a very tall kid. Hey look! That chicken wants to wish you a Happy 2016!
Roseluck1 245 November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 All the time! D: I'm super tiny, like around 5'1" >o< I look 14 and I act 14, so people usually don't believe me when I say I'm 18... Can't even get a drink without people asking my ID ;-; And the worst part of all, there's literally no upside to this ~Food is cute~
StarBurst_Goes_Nuts 8 November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 Most people think im older then I originally am, due to my height at most, iv always been a tall person. Outgrowing my mom and slowly outgrowing my step-dad, I remember when I was in middle school (6th) highschool students would whistle at me when I pass by the school on my way to a store, my mom screamed at them once because she thought it was inappropriate and they got terrified when they realized I was way younger then them. Yarishia 144 November 23, 2015 Share November 23, 2015 (edited) People very often mistake my age. When I didn't shave myself people think I'm above 30, when I shvae myself poeple think I'm in college, even when I talk with someone on Skype, then also people think I'm ~25 but I'm only 17 and people always can't believe I'm so young. Cash In 22,483 April 8, 2019 Share April 8, 2019 It has happened too often for me. I've been mistaken for up to at least eleven years older than my actual age before. At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
Here No Longer 5,276 April 8, 2019 Share April 8, 2019 On a few occasions I've had people that seemed a bit surprised that I was older than they thought. I've never heard people say a specific age, though.
