My absolute favorites are Garry's Mod, Team Fortress 2, Both Portal and Portal 2, Half-Life 2, Castle Crashers, Binding of Isaac, and Autocraft.

When I do play games on the PC, Civilization V with all the DLC is my favorite hands down. It is so replayable with each game different. If you manage to get bored of the base game, mods are everywhere. If you wanted to, you could ponify the whole game with pony units and everything.

Cave Story+. I could probably write 2 emotional paragraphs on it (more specifically, I could on the original version, this is the only version sold on steam, however same can be said) , but I'll leave it at this: If you like platformers, play it. If you like metroid, play it. If you like anything, play it. Cave Story+ is just an expansion, the original is free if you want to give it a shot, and I highly recommend you play do.
